It would be three tbfHope they go up, just to annoy the folk who are against an 18 team league.
"Two games a season against Arbroath, am no paying fur that."
Here's four games. Enjoy.
I quite like Dick too.
Sorry my missus stole my phone there
Would they need to go full time by rules?Fair play if they come up but they would severely weaken our already dug shite "Premier"ship.
Does that rule still exist though?Excuse my ignorance, but would Arbroath not need to ground share as Gayfield Park isn’t all seated if they got promotion? I wouldn’t be averse to them coming up btw. Would make a change from the usual ping pong teams.

He has a business and said on Open Goal part time suits him now.He really should have got a shot at much bigger teams than he’s managed.
I'd imagine so. Would be embarrassing having an amatuer team with a wasteland ground in our top league.Would they need to go full time by rules?
Something sticks in my mind the all seater stadium rule has been rescinded. But it’s still a joke. No way should a PL club be playing there. Pitch doesn’t look too bad though.Does that rule still exist though?
Their ground is laughable. Don't think sponsors or Sky would be too enthusiastic.

I listened to him on Craig Levein's podcast. Says he loves part time as his recruitment business keeps him full time and makes him enough money to be able to tell an owner to ram a job.He has a business and said on Open Goal part time suits him now.
He’s not really, although he would probably favour us over them. His late brother Pete was staunch as is his brother Dunc but Dick and Ian are Pars menDick Campbell is a good bear.
Sorry but that’s nonsense. He’s not really, although he would probably favour us over them. His late brother Pete was staunch as is his brother Dunc but Dick and Ian are Pars men
One of Dicks sons and one of Ian’s sons are Tims but the wider family are bears no doubt
Not in an 18 team league. It would be three tbf
How well do you know him ?Sorry but that’s nonsense.
He spoke at a Rangers night I was at many years ago and some of the things he came away with made it very clear what he is.
Having part-time teams punching above their weight is his level as a manager. He was abysmal with Thistle when he had a big, full-time budget to work with.He really should have got a shot at much bigger teams than he’s managed.
@Cucumbear @Alfie shhh!Excuse my ignorance, but would Arbroath not need to ground share as Gayfield Park isn’t all seated if they got promotion? I wouldn’t be averse to them coming up btw. Would make a change from the usual ping pong teams.
Looking at that Championship table I don't want any of them to come up. Not one offers anything to the league. Shower of utter shite!!!
You have missed the point of the post I replied to. He said it would be four instead of two, to which I replied it would only be three. Read the original postNot in an 18 team league.
Arbroath offer one of the best away days you’ll have.
Would be great to see them come up.
Their stadium is a shithole and they don't have much of a home support. We're already struggling to sell out game with the shite on offer without adding another one to the ranks.
Standing sections next to the sea, rangers support was bouncing last time we were there.
Having a team like that in the league would be great for fans who actually go to the games mind you, am sure you’ll be fine watching it in the living room.
Thanks @rangeral. That was what I had thought but seems a bit of a joke that a stadium like that can be considered ‘good enough’ to be in the SPL. Seen better junior stadiums@Cucumbear @Alfie shhh!
yes Gayfield would fine to host League game in the Premiership no longer any rules to be all seated ended in 2013 when the SPFL was created
Today's crowd was 49,252.Their stadium is a shithole and they don't have much of a home support. We're already struggling to sell out game with the shite on offer without adding another one to the ranks.
I think is ok since it is the old fashion stadium compared to the modern all seated oneThanks @rangeral. That was what I had thought but seems a bit of a joke that a stadium like that can be considered ‘good enough’ to be in the SPL. Seen better junior stadiums
Used to love going to grounds like this in the 80's, just a pure football experience.Does that rule still exist though?
