Was so difficult really wanted Ian Ferguson in middle and then also not choosing Abertz, bloody nightmare.
Think Durrant would have made everyone's XI if not for injury, he would have went on to play for one of the big Italian teams.

It says a lot that the past 20 years doesnt have many players.
Its 36 years since Souness arrived , and 90% are in first half of that.
Souness , Smith, Advocaat.

Mcleish , le guen, smith, ally, warburton, pedro, gerrard, and GVB have virtually none.

Is it the quality of player went downhill or was it the start of the money issues.
Dick blew a lot of dough.

Durrant pre injury, was amazing.
I had always hoped for ian ferguson , durrant and derek to be our midfield but sadly it didnt happen.
In fact did all 3 start together?
