Cosgrove on Off The Ball ‘jokes’ that Richard Gough may not have been against apartheid in South Africa

How on earth is off the ball still going? It most be 15 years* at least since I had it on in the back

*Probably more than

Was taken aback to hear him say that. Basically that Richard would not necessarily be against apartheid. Cosgrove needs to apologise for this. A suspension would not be out of the question either.
If the only reason for this is because he’s South African and white then it’s a racial slur.
Is he implying that all white South Africans were pro-apartheid?

Hope Richard Gough gets onto his lawyer and demands an on air apology

BBC Scotland employ too many Rangers haters and Cosgrove is an unfunny fat prick

Richard Gordon openly accuses refs of pro-Rangers bias, and nobody says anything in response.

Here's the equivalent.

"Paul McStay would have not been against the boys club rituals with jim and old frank"

Think of the outcry.
Well it was an open secret.

Kelly's knighthood should be posthumously stripped.

Growing up we were told that Kelly would go into the dressing room and change the team. Only Stein, stood up to him.

In 1967, he fined the entire squad 250 sovs after their indiscipline in Argentina (knowing the filth, this could have been a load of tosh)

In 1968, he railed against UEFA, about Russia after their take over of Czheckoslovakia, and got the draw, re-drawn as it were.

He ruled the filth with an iron fist and corrupted the SFA and Glasgow FA.

But we're supposed to believe he didn't know about certain aspects of the club he ruled?

Gimme peace.

What a ridiculous thing to even say, Cosgrove cannot hide his hatred and the mask slips so often. A horrible and nasty little man.

Don’t be fooled by Cosgrove and his ‘hail fellow well met‘ patter.
A sinister, highly political and manipulative individual.
He is highly intelligent, a class one socialist hypocrite but very well educated and for decades was a very senior executive with Channel 4.
His motives in appearing on “Off the Ball” have always been questionable to me.
Could be wrong, maybe he wants to be on hand to quell any comments on him being arrested at Perth Railway Station for football hooliganism.
At least I think it was him, apologies if I’ve misremembered.

He's a creepy scumbag, who peddles his phony socialist idealism and student politics on OTB and that idiot Cowan plays along.

A duffel coat casual

At best he was a scruffy "hanger on"
The type that has it on their toes and dont want their trainers getting dirty.

Absolute fud and fatasist.

I haven't heard this in it's context, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was as despicable as it appears. There's not many in the media I dislike more than this pr!ck.
