Leverkusen away behind closed doors confirmed

mportant info for our fans:

In order to slow the spread of the coronavirus, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia has decided to cancel all major events starting from 1000 spectators until further notice. And the state of Bremen has also issued a similar regulation. However, there is the opportunity to let these events take place without a spectator participation - both clubs draw this option.

This therefore applies to both the Bundesliga away game of the Werkself at Werder Bremen on Monday, March 16., as well as at the rematch of the Europa League round on Thursday, March 19. March, in the BayArena. How the tickets already purchased for the two games are handled here is summarized here.

No real surprise there and it's been confirmed that tickets will be reimbursed, I just hope the travelling Bears can recoup their travel/hotel expenses.

Should hear this from the club officially, over the next few days.
Hopefully everyone that booked up gets some/all of their money back, one way or another.

Disappointed for the Bears who had already made their travel arrangements and are left out of pocket by this, though unfortunately bcd was looking ever more likely by the day.

What's the process for ticket refunds? Do we need to contact them or will they just refund to us?
If you bought from them, they will refund you,may take a few days.
Translation from their website.
“The ticket price will be fully reimbursed to buyers of day tickets. The reverse processing takes place in the same way as the ticket was purchased. All ticket buyers are proactively informed by the association. This currently applies to the Bundesliga away game at Werder Bremen and the Europa League game against the Glasgow Rangers in the BayArena.”

What a sh!tter, was looking forward to next week. Been coming for a few days though so seen it coming.

This, from the editor-in-chief of The Lancet, which is one of the world's premier general medical journals :

The UK government—Matt Hancock and Boris Johnson—claim they are following the science. But that is not true. The evidence is clear. We need urgent implementation of social distancing and closure policies. The government is playing roulette with the public. This is a major error.

BCD cant be far away in UK football.

ps What happens when the players start to go down with the virus ?

Will be weird watching it on the telly. Shame for the guys that booked to go over, I hope the insurance covers it. Also, remember to check with your credit card provider, they cover too.
No one will pay out cause the game is now getting played behind closed doors

Feel bad for the bears that booked up. There’s going to be loads of majorly disappointed people for different reasons in the coming months.

Can we still get the travel club point .......

On a serious note. Hope everybody as a travel insurance policy that will cover.
