Players I've seen play, my team would be.

Goram

Sandy Jardine Tom Forsyth Richard Gough John Greig.

Ian Durrant Alex Mcdonald Souness Davie Cooper

Derek Johnsone Ally McCoist.

I'd have Kenny as a sub. Just in case they needed him. ;)

Apologies, not up to date with the N/I boys.

I would play big John in the place of Bremner and Richard Gough in the back four. Other than that, looks a decent team.

Can only really remember from 93/94 onwards so I’ve picked based on national team performances from that period.

McGovern

Bradley Hughes Evans McCartney

Gillespie Davis McCann Brunt

Healy Lafferty

Goram

Hutton Hendry Weir Robertson

Fletcher Ferguson Collins

McGinn

Miller McFadden

As I said, can only properly remember from 93/94 onwards and the only goal I can remember him scoring was against Switzerland at Euro 96. Just looked it up and and he scored 3 others in that time, once against Greece, one against San Marino and the other against Australia in a friendly.

Whereas Miller and McFadden were really good under Walter and Big Eck. I actually remember Kevin Gallacher being quite good in the WC 98 qualifiers too.

I could have picked some of the 80’s legends technically, but went for the boys I’ve watched more regularly in the flesh. Midfield isn’t very balanced, but I had to find a spot for wee Michael Hughes.

The Robertson should be Davie really, if he wasn’t so criminally overlooked.
