BBC’s response to Michael Stewart and employee’s tweets on Rangers kit launch

Who was the other journo complained about that had if upheld? English?

I get where they’re coming from to an extent re: Stewart because if he’s not an employee he can’t be punished.

However like others have said, perhaps they will reconsider contracting his services in future.

Even if the failed trialist is not an employee, he’s on the same platform of those who are, and there is no distinction to be made during air time.

Not only that, they are paying this loser with public money where the close associationm with him further tarnishes their brand.

So as a non employee, it should be obvious and easy to bin him. But no, they would rather say he’s not an employee and the hamster wheel continues to spin.
