I've got it in an auld book somewhere that says he stayed in the Gorballs,
When he was doing his wild West show in Glasgow Green.
His mate Sitting Bill stayed over in Dennison at the same time!
The detective agency Pinkerton..... Was started and run,
By Alan Pinkerton who was born in the Gorbals.
If you ever go to New York, go over to Ellis Island as they have a lot of,
computers there in one of the rooms!
Believe me you will be astounded by how many people that left from Glasgow,
To America, it would take you all day going through your own name never mind, Other names?
And why not! Is Scotland not a bit of New York that broke of American millions,
of years ago! ......And stuck on to land which is now called England.
Maybe a auld "Billy Boy" thought he was going too see the Texas Rangers?
