I know the role of captain has been diluted recently, but Maguire as captain is just one of the signs of everything that is wrong with United, and why their wait for a league trophy will continue to go on for some time.

Not a sign of things going well. The fact that Utd and their supporters think that the captaincy is a main issue atm shows they still haven't accepted where they are. The amount of times I here that they have a fantastic squad astounds me. They have a poor, imbalanced, underachieving squad full of completely overhyped footballers.
