Inverness CT stadium broken into

For what purpose does someone steal car batteries? Surely they would be easy to track someone down who is trying to flog something like that?

It’s to disable the car alarm so they can chore stuff out of the car.

Don’t imagine it would be too hard to catch them given the location. There’s %^*& all round there and cctv on the bridge nearby etc.

Saw this on Friday, the scum of our society will come to the fore over the coming months, with supermarkets their only real option for shoplifting and wandering about off their tits will stick out way more than normal with next to nobody on the street.

Thieves are going to target business that have shutdown during the current health scare.
Their usual target of empty homes when owners are at work or holiday is now thankfully unavailable.

Got a feeling we are going to see a sharp increase in these type of incidents over the next few months with pubs, clubs etc all shut up and security possibly not adequately staffed. You would think people would have a bit of self pride

Sadly I agree.

There will also be an increased in attempted fraud etc.

Sadly there is an element of society who are simply an alternative form of life. The 'welfare state' has kept them under control in years gone by they'd have been jailed, deported to Australia or hung.

its going to happen more and more i think, hardly any police presence on the streets and closed businesses.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC has completed their consultation exercise and consideration of its options in relation to the upcoming SPL vote on July 4.

"The club will be voting 'no' to an application for SPL entry from a new company which has acquired the assets of Rangers following the liquidation of the previous company.

"Having considered all the options and following a very productive discussion with the supporters trust board, members the ICTFC directors are unanimous in their decision."

Stuff them.
