McLaughlin in the European squad a mistake?

Just realised we had Jon in the squad tonight who doesn't take up a homegrown slot since he trained in England. Surely would've been better going with McGregor and McCrorie as our keepers and an extra centre half instead.

The subs we made were all forwards. What difference would another CH have made and who would it have been? Helander out, Katic on loan and Simpson certainly not playing at this level. Bassey can cover Centre Half if we had an injury in game.
