1912 - Rangers 5 (Parker,Goodwin,Paterson,Hogg,RG Campbell Pen) Aberdeen 2 - Inter-City League (2,000)
Although Rangers kicked off the Inter-City League with an impressive win over Aberdeen, the competition was later abandoned owing to lack of interest. With Rangers already playing some 34 matches in the Scottish League, plus further games in the Scottish Cup,Glasgow Cup and Charity Cup,another League was the last thing they needed to contend with. The crowds obviously thought so too,for only 2,000 were at Ibrox for the clash with Aberdeen
1921 - Airdrieonians 1 Rangers 2 (Henderson,Cunningham) - Scottish League Division One (15,000)

1974 - Queen's Park 1 Rangers 3 (Parlane,Fyfe,Johnstone) - Glasgow Cup Semi-Final (5,737)
Despite the fact that Rangers put out a full first team, just 5,737 were there to see them set up yet another final clash with Celtic, courtesy of a 3-1 win over Queen's Park. Goals from Derek Parlane,Graham Fyfe and Derek Johnstone took Rangers through
1977 - Motherwell 1 Rangers 4 (Johnstone 3,Smith) - Scottish Premier Division (20,050)
1983 - Dundee 3 Rangers 2 (Russell,Redford) - Scottish Premier Division (11,945)

2011 - Rangers 1 (Jelavic) St.Mirren 1 - Scottish Premier League (47,034)

Edit - talking shite after looking it up, there was a few weeks between them. But pretty sure St Mirrens was a last minute goal and the same day Celtic came from behind against killie.

It was. Thompson equalised for them about 5 minutes into injury time. Broadfoot was caught miles out of position which allowed their winger to get the ball into the box.

Tims were losing 3-0 at HT earlier that day and drew 3-3. The story was had they lost Lennon was to be sacked.

Had we won we'd have been looking at a 12 point lead over them at that stage.

That was it. I thought losing to St Johnstone was the following weekend originally but it looks like it was a few weeks later.

Teale equalised for St.Mirren in the 5th minute of stoppage time

That was the day imo that everything at the club really started to fall apart big time.

2011 - Rangers 1 (Jelavic) St.Mirren 1 - Scottish Premier League (47,034)

Gazza done half time draw

1966 - Hearts 1 Rangers 1 (Millar) - Scottish League Division One (29,048)

I believe this was the last goal that Jimmy Millar scored for Rangers.

Signed by Scot Symon as a Half Back in his first season in charge in January 1955.
A Fantastic player who served the club for 12 seasons, and still to this day remains a Fans Favourite, with that generation who grew up with him.
Scored all 4 goals in an end of season friendly in Denmark (v Staevnet) as a makeshift Centre Forward, in May 59', and would start the 59-60 season as our main striker.

Over the next Four seasons (59-63), Jimmy Millar would score 134 Goals in 183 Games.

1977 - The side was really motoring at that point and playing some wonderful football.

The autumns of 77, 88 and 99, saw periods of scintillating football that set the foundations for the successful seasons that lay ahead.

This was the start of the wheels coming off.
Our first dropped points since we drew 1-1 with Hearts on the opening day of the season. Four weeks later we faltered at home again, dropping two points against St.Johnstone followed by our first deafeat of the season, away to Kilmarnock.

1974 - Queen's Park 1 Rangers 3 (Parlane,Fyfe,Johnstone) - Glasgow Cup Semi-Final (5,737)

It was eerie in the old Hampden with such a small crowd...
