Some fine servants to the club, city of Glasgow and world football in attendance.
Grey slip ons, white socks and navy suit…Brown brogues with a dark suit. Deary me. You obviously weren’t a Boy’s Brigade boy.
After more than 60 years, I am still part of the Rangers Story, I didn't get an invite, pure ragin'.For good or bad - he and others there tonight are all part of the Rangers Story.
Which particular institution of segregated schooling did you attend?Grey slip ons, white socks and navy suit…
"Often unrecognised" that's because we do it for the good of the community and not to for our reputation like some others.
Duncanrig Secondary EK,we were just poor in the 70’s.Big brothers hand me downs.Which particular institution of segregated schooling did you attend?

6th EK coy.
Nice shirt and tie combo there and well presented.
Why are they both there? I know both are Rangers fans but is that it?Exchanged greetings with wee Bob in Seville just before the game.
Jonathan Watson too.Grado and Shellsuit Boab?!
Hoping @David Edgar was at this and we get to hear about an awkward encounter with Bain on tomorrow's DU.
Jonathan Watson too.
The Two Doors Down RSC must be an A+ RSC to get an invite to this gig.
Campbell's looking good. I knew him well at one point, we had many mutual friends, at the time when when he worked with the SFA. He used to drink in the Wickets and in the Aragon in Byres Road. I helped him with some correspondence material when he was studying for his ACIS exams and he got me tickets for a few games. He always was a good looking bugger!!Very nice to see Campbell Ogilvie there. A man who was made to leave Rangers far too early.
Campbell is pure class and a gentleman, he was a perfect club secretary for Rangers.Campbell's looking good. Bain and Johnston "smelled a rat" when they knew they were getting punted.Martin Bain was a good guy in the end up just prior to the Whyte takeover. Iirc he and Alistair Johnston smelled a rat.
No.Doubt it, but were there any current players there Mark (Tav)?
Yes he was.Was John Gilligan there?
I thought that was a knife he had in his handExchanged greetings with wee Bob in Seville just before the game.
Looks like a League or Cup medal mounted as a pendant that she is wearing.
David Holmes was at Rangers for around 3 and a half years coming in at the end of 1985 and leaving in the summer of 1989, will always be grateful to him for leading the revolution of the club but taking the blue tinted specs off for a moment he wasn't at Rangers through a love of the club, by most accounts he was a Falkirk fan and became a major shareholder in them for a short while after he left us.I liked Holmes but he was barely there a year and the Lawrence Grouo was overcommitted elsewhere and had pt Rangers into debt (although nothing like what was to come in later years) so let’s not get too varied away.
However, he had the vision to get Souness and the rest is history!
Brilliant photos- thanks for posting!
Expect a resolution at their AGM this year questioning why the Lord Provost acknowledged that Rangers have been in existence for 150 years. There might even be another resolution questioning why she can have the word provo in her title. Were Celtic unwilling to send a representative to commemorate our decade of existence.
Where's the sporting Integrity
:shh:
150 years and counting yet there they are still in our shadow
Great photos, cheers.
