I was there last August Mate The Gib Loyal had a European game on in a pub called The Calpe Hounds Cornwalls Lane on a side street just off the Main Street

Lucky man, wish I was there.
We had a night in Gib prior to the final and ended up in a sports bar down by the marina. From what I mind it was decent with plenty large screens and atmosphere. In saying that I was fucking steaming and staggered up the road at 10pm after been boozing from 5pm the day before with 3 hours kip in Stanstead!!

Was there years ago was disappointed there was no plaque or anything to mark the occasionIs the petrol station still there? Wouldn't mind visiting it one day.
She has retired and sold the pub.
I know because she's my wife's aunt.

Was in Gibraltar pre covid on a trip from Malaga, we had lunch in the Lord Nelson and then went to the Angry Friar, don't if they're still open, they were your typical British pubs, maybe they will show the game?

I remember being in it late 90’s and the owners where from Co Down NI I think. Sticks in my head some of them telling me about an ancestor that fought at Rourkes Drift. They did have a lot of memorabilia from the Zulu but not sure if the ancestor part was true or false.

Last time I was in a pub there the sailors had wrecked the toilets went for a shit no doors pure desperate just shit and smiled then washed my hands of course.

Currently in the fine location of Gibraltar, having arrived this afternoon after a pleasant journey from Madrid. We watched the Man U v Arsenal game in Nelson but they did not seem much interested in football at all.
So, after the celebratory walk past the most famous petrol station here in town, we went for a refreshment in the "Ship". It's not one of the historical pubs in town but it is advertising our game being on here this Tuesday so will most likely view it here.
