Rangers honour the Merchant Navy

Great to see. My old man was in the Merchant Navy on and off for 20 years from 1944. Sadly, no longer around.
I have much to thank him for, but my love of the Rangers more than most

Great gesture from the club.

Also a great view of the main stand from up there on the roof of the Sandy Jardine stand.

I bought my wee grandpa a brick at Ibrox and it was related to his service in the MN. He has no idea of course because he passed away in 1984. I love to walk past it though and I even now I miss him. He took me to my first home game, first away game and first game at the piggery.

I done the dual cadetship. Class 3 deck and class 4 steam and motor.

First ship was the British Ranger.

South Tyneside Loyal
Nice.

I’m ancient! First ship was the British Willow in a South Shields dry-dock in 1970.
