Wolves v Burnley, Luton v Arsenal & Tuesday's other football

Looked good anytime I’ve seen Luton this season. He was some player at Everton back in the day.
He’s always been a good player. Sometimes the move to the bigger club isn’t always the best but I guess the wage on offer is perhaps too much to refuse. He scored a goal similar to Laudrup v Dundee Utd not long after breaking into the Everton side where I thought they might finally have someone they can label the next Gazza.

Imo he is another English player who hasn’t lived up to his potential.

Yeah he looked very good when he was first breaking through and he had some amount of potential at Everton. I think a mixture of the injuries, the wrong move and a bit of poor attitude were all factors.

He looked good in spells at Chelsea and great for a short period on loan at Villa but ruined by injuries quite quickly.

Blew my mind when I found out he was Nigerian :))

Refs never stop the game during an attacking phase

Free kick taken on 96:02

Ball hits the net 20 seconds later

Not excessive
He could have stopped it when the ball came out the box then again when Zinchenko pulled it back for Odegaard instead of crossing.

I am a fan of neither. Just thought it was very harsh the six minutes then another 30 seconds.

Teams come to Ibrox and time waste from minute one and don’t even get six minutes.

Arsenal did well to dig that result out.
Even a draw would have seen all the questions about bottle etc. I don't think the squad has enough quality in depth to win the title, would love to be wrong. It will take city having a prolonged poor patch and Liverpool taking a wee stumble as well.

You have to feel for Luton as well, played like men possessed.

January will be interesting. The league could be won in the January window and it wouldn’t be a great surprise if City drop points tomorrow night tbh. Villa have one of the best home records in the league this season. 6/6

City look to have a defensive fragility about them this season. Chelsea scored four, Leipzig scored two and could have scored more but their firepower is ridiculous.

Arteta has fùcked this with the mess he's made of who his number one is
It’s the weirdest situation ever. Ramsdale wasn’t undroppable and if they signed a top class keeper he would be dropped and it would’ve been fair enough. However, they signed a player on almost exactly the same level as Ramsdale so there is no benefit at all for the bold decision to replace him.

Got to hope the big blonde machine has another off night as well.

Arsenal could do with another striker, just a finisher, and cover at CM as well in Jan window.
Arteta needs to swallow his pride and give Ramsdale a run in the team as well. Raya is in his own head just now and needs to sit out

Arsenal need a keeper and a striker to perfect the squad. Proper ones.

Twice this season Rice has scored a 96th minute winner. Arsenal need an actual goalscorer in January to win the league I think

Not sure personnel is the issue.

They play that same wide 3 up top we play and in games at times they lack the numbers in the box because everyone is so isolated strung out across the park.

A lot less often than we look toothless from it but still the same concept. They also do the same thing we do of looking like being able to score at will at points in games then nothing for 10-15 minutes
