Brendan Rodgers has previous for bottling it when 3 clear with 3 to play. Fun.

Only other time in his career Brendan Rodgers has been 3 clear with 3 to play.

Tossed in a 2-0 home loss followed by a 3-3 draw away the following midweek.

Total bottle job after several unbeaten in the run up. He was same price for the league title with Liverpool then as Celtic are right now.

Probably still keeps the guy awake at night.

Its an obvious question to ask him. Will the Scottish media dare ask if he’s over compensating with the have some fun stuff.

He’s never played Rangers in a meaningful match in May.

I’m starting the ball rolling early, I would love it Kevin Keegan style.

Every single Rangers player and member of staff will be ready to get into crispy lips and finish what was started at the tunnel in the last game.

If a mentally challenged engages you this week, remind them, Brendan Rodgers bottles it when he’s 3 ahead with 3 to play.

Standard in the PL is a little bit higher

The 3-3 away to Crystal Palace were his team not 3 up with about 10 minutes to play? A top class manager would've made tactical changes to see that game out but aye, Gerrard slipping cost them the league.
Hope we have some right fun over the next couple of weeks, we're due it.

Don't think it would have mattered even if they'd beaten Palace - losing to Chelsea was the kicker.

Still remember watching that game. Gerrard obviously slipped and spent the rest of the game trying Hollywood shots from sixty yards out to make amends.

The standard of Liverpool is significantly higher than celtic - the point is a valid one.
Point taken, but whats the comparison between Liverpool and the other prem teams compared to Celtic and the other SPFL teams? Realistically both us and them should win every game outwith the 4 OF games.

From memory it was potentially going to go down to goal difference which is why they went chasing the goals against Palace

Had a look and the goal difference was 13 in favour of Man City. Unless there was a couple of heavy wins in there for Man City in the final couple of games it seems wild they went chasing goals in that Palace game, especially after losing the first one

That's the comparison, they should, but they don't.

It's all about pressure and expectations, they have a massive impact on performance.

The difference in how we acted when dominating Scottish football is like night and day compared to those rats.

Their snide digs in the media, Griffiths tying a Celtc scarf around the goalpost at Ibrox, spitting on our corner flags.

We would have been annihilated in the media and by politicians for such lowlife behaviour.

Some people have class, some don’t

Bang on OP regarding it being a very valid question to ask.

Particularly as the Scottish media enjoy not talking about the actual football itself but love a soap opera and a bit of drama.

I’d love to see the arrogant wankers “trying not to act bothered” reaction.

Did anyone ask him about his previous bottle job in the exact same position today ?

Or were they too scared / only ask what he wants them to or just too dim to notice ?

The Gerrard slip was overstated - the truth is Rodgers was tactically outsmarted by Mourinho who played a reserve team. They should have had enough to still win that game comfortably but he bottled it

If we get the opening goal tomorrow he won't be able to help but think about Demba Ba and the following implosion. He will lose the plot and they'll totally collapse

Just do it Rangers

All the tiny years of my life have had something really major missing and that is having the good luck to have a brilliant day out with a someone as entertaining and wonderful as Brendan Rodgers . If only .

But he does have an excellent record against us but if our team go about the business of playing good sensible football we can win

Had this thought the other day as well. He completely bottled it that season.

All Liverpool needed was a draw against Chelsea, but instead they went gung-ho and were completely left open at the back for both goals.

They were also 3-0 up against Palace and he just decided to keep going.

Also absolutely bottled top 4 twice in a row with Leicester. They were clear in the top 4, even clear in 3rd one of the seasons. He's a total bottle job.

Hopefully a repeat of that over the next 5 days.

The players have played like wee lassies against his side most of the season but yes, hopefully you are right and tomorrow will be totally different.

I sincerely hope this is true. From the top of the team right down.

Out of interest, on what level of bad did it get in the tunnel and did the manager approve of said action against these filth scum?

They fũcking rat bastards are quietly shittng themselves, Phil should tell the team to give everything they have tomorrow, , we are more than capable of winning …. Their fans broke into Rodger’s house when he left them the first time, and he came back ffs … Confession is like double jeopardy to that lot

I'm sorry mate but they absolutely are not.

As much as the OP makes some fair points, even if Rodgers was to bottle the last 3 games of this season, could anyone hand on heart say they'd trust our players to take advantage of it?
