Let’s hope so.
With good reason, few players can come back as good when out with a serious knee injury, all the worse when its someone who's game is based around movement and guile as Danilo's is.Hope whenever he comes back he gets back to his best ASAP, knee injuries give me the fear.
Dessers in his Feyenoord form would help as well.Hope whenever he comes back he gets back to his best ASAP, knee injuries give me the fear.
We'd be a team marching on to the title with a bit more confidence if he was fit and performing at the level he did at Feyenoord.
I think he will be, think how much other players such as Yilmaz have shown their true abilities under a decent Manager, Danilo was better than most of those who have showed a huge marked improvement even in the very early days.I still have high hopes for Danilo
A full pre season with us and raring to go he could be what we all hoped he would be when he signed.
Origibal diagnosis was 4 monthsNobody is back playing within 4 months of that kind of serious knee surgery.
Best we can hope for is he is able to do a pre season so he is available in August.
Parkhead I said mate, not Ibrox. Not sure when that game is but either way, I dont see him being fit for it. As good as it would be.Would be brilliant but can't see it with the game 10 days away.
You do know the next old firm game is at Ibrox?Would be brilliant but can't see it with the game only 10 days away.

Ooft, made a right arse of that despite reading it twiceYou do know the next old firm game is at Ibrox?
They got it wrong originally then.Origibal diagnosis was 4 months
I get fans are disappointed after we spent 6 million on him, but it's hardly the players fault Beale knocked the confidence out of him and then just as he was regaining it he got that terrible injury.Hope whenever he comes back he gets back to his best ASAP, knee injuries give me the fear.

When he went out I thought that was it for the season and I cant see it changing because even if he were able to restart some fitness work hes a country mile away from doing anything testing and beyond that hes not played Football for so long itll take a while to regain his sharpness.
Look at Hagi and how far off it he still seems even after coming back. Not an exact copy of the injury but the impact and subsequent R&R is not dissimilar.
Jamie Murphy's career was basically ended after his bad injury. He carried on but could hardly move and rarely completed 90s mins for any team he moved to.
Danilo had a bad one and has been out for a long, long time. Rangers would be better off keeping him on a slow road to recovery and looking at some specialist training/fitness work across the Summer to get him back for next season.

Knee injuries are a killer as you don’t really know how they will healHope whenever he comes back he gets back to his best ASAP, knee injuries give me the fear.

I think this has to be the case, we've laid out a big transfer fee on him, not taking any risks as tempting as it may be to do so should be the priority, give him the time to heal and get a proper full uninterrupted pre season under his belt so he can start fresh next season.Be surprised if we were to get any more than a few cameo appearances from the bench this season at best. I think the focus will be on a full pre-season and getting him fully fit for next season.
seems to have something about him, having him back for the run in is a boost
