Clarke isn't a good manager but it's not as if Scotland can do much better with the talent available.

Had people trying to convince me in the summer we have a good squad (and on the verge of a 'golden generation', being held back by a bad coach. Absolute nonsense. We have some talent (Robertson, Tierney), potential (Gilmour) and the rest is bottom half EPL quality at best.

We actually had more talent available when Strachan was manager (Snodgrass, Maloney, Fletcher, McArthur, Morrison, Hutton etc). Don't buy into the myth that we're producing better players. We're not.

A better manager can get so much more out these players, don't kid yourself we no longer have English championship or below players we have spfl and epl players and potential epl players in this squad, there are no excuses , none

You say bottom half EPL like it's an insult, but your talking about the richest league in the world. Might not win world cups with that level of player, but qualifying should be easy.

We should be easily qualifying in a group containing Denmark and Austria? Denmark were absolutely light years ahead of us the other night. It was like watching Chelsea playing a Conference team.

Bottom half EPL isn’t really that great a standard. We have a mediocre team.
