Football book recommendations....

The miracle of castel Di sangro is the best football book I've ever read.

Best in the last 2 years was keith gillespie's autobiography - proper honest stuff in there as opposed to the self-justification you get in a lot of them (and much as it hurts me to say I include novo and the ferguson brothers in that list)

I enjoyed didier drogba,Andy goram, nacho novo but best out of em all was Steven Gerrard lastest book and I read that before he was even our manager

I would definitely read “Tougher than Bullets” by Harold Davis, and would make it mandatory reading for all Rangers’ players. It will make them appreciate what they have, and the honour of playing for Rangers. Harold’s thoughts on Jim Baxter, and how he wasted the magnificent natural talent that he was gifted with, and how much Baxter disrespected his manger Scot Symon and the other players in the team, is quite an insight to life at Ibrox in bygone years. Also, he reveals the power that Willie Waddell wielded at Rangers, and how badly he felt that Davie White was treated.
