That kind of ‘mistake’ would probably see most of us with some type of warning in our workplaces. That prick on the other hand is probably chortling to himself.
 
It gets worse. Says in the article his contract expires in Summer 2025 (says the same on Transfermarkt to be fair) but he signed an extension last November which keeps him there until Summer 2026:

That’s ridiculous on so many levels. Getting the names Lee and Liam mixed up. Then revealing that wasn't a mistake by quoting Liam Miller’s former clubs. Then the little matter of Liam Miller sadly dying 6 years ago.
 
Apart from the obvious, it also betrays a mildly sinister 'journalistic' tactic of producing copy - strongly alluding to the inside track on the boys development, as if he himself is part of some inner circle of discussion on how the boy is being steered.

It also stinks of AI to be fair.

Trying to endear himself to the lower demographic because he knows there lack of critical thoughts will enable him to gain a greater audience for the cheap clicks that he and the other of today’s journalists need to make a living.
 
This is why proper journalistic outfits have sub-editors, proof-readers and various other checks before something ends up in the public domain.
