Still need to play team 42Buckie don't have a licence for the SPFL, East Kilbride going up . Thought they might have gave 2nd place a chance to play the game.
Would be an irony if EK replaced Clyde in the league setup considering the history.I don't think EK are going up are they? They still need to play the final?
Sorry, you're correct, will edit postI don't think EK are going up are they? They still need to play the final?
Hellova journey for no reason - although not as bad as a Buckie v Stranraer possible final!
Are they not still playing whilst they try to sort it out?
looks that way to me which makes me wonder why win at all if you have no ambition to go any further in the league set upBuckie surely knew that?
Just don’t fancy going up?
People have been perfectly happy just winning the highland league for a long, long time.looks that way to me which makes me wonder why win at all if you have no ambition to go any further in the league set up
It’s an almighty kick in the stones for Brechin who are determined to get back into league 2Brechin missed out on the league by two goals. Surely they could have let them take Buckies place.
%^*& Brechin and their ChairmanBrechin fans will be raging, which is funny
Very, very poor from Buckie.
Making a mockery of the play offs is absolutely embarrassing from them.
And then in the West of Scotland League you have Beith who for the second year in a row will be blocking the pyramid due to them lacking floodlights amongst other things.Very, very poor from Buckie.

You need an entry licence to compete in the SHFL and it's not far off the requirements of Bronze. So it looks as though they've deliberately not attempted to get it.Should be written that to contest in that league, where you have a chance of getting to the League2 set up, that you have the licence before you even kick a ball.
You do realise it’s not the same people in charge that were in 2012/13%^*& Brechin and their Chairman
That might not be financially feasible for many of the clubs.Should be written that to contest in that league, where you have a chance of getting to the League2 set up, that you have the licence before you even kick a ball.
It's very frustrating. And then in the West of Scotland League you have Beith who for the second year in a row will be blocking the pyramid due to them lacking floodlights amongst other things.
yet everyone moans that Aberdeen shouldve been relegated but Falkirks ground didnt meet the requirements .............Very, very poor from Buckie.

So these clubs all contested the league for the title and the opportunity to enter a play-off for League membership but didn’t get certification . Publicly people anticipated the playoff too , that’s a bit abusive of the system and the public you could argue .
No Highland League side has Bronze
2 Lowland League sides have it -, Cumbernauld Colts & East Kilbride
Yet 5 of current 42 SPFL clubs don't have bronze either Airdrie, Cove Rangers, Edinburgh City Kelty Hearts & Peterhead guess they will be working towards Bronze
That is based on the overall award which must be based on
sounds a wee bit like self preservation within the leagues at boardroom level , so Buckie aren't allowed to play and win through the structure but those there that dont meet the criteria it's ok to do so ?? ...... so typically F*cking SPFL

What’s that history mate?Would be an irony if EK replaced Clyde in the league setup considering the history.
Sounds more like Buckie are happy to stay where they aresounds a wee bit like self preservation within the leagues at boardroom level , so Buckie aren't allowed to play and win through the structure but those there that dont meet the criteria it's ok to do so ?? ...... so typically F*cking SPFL
I have posted an article from the The Sun back in February which seems to be focus on those 5 SPFL getting the bronze license needed for next seasonsounds a wee bit like self preservation within the leagues at boardroom level , so Buckie aren't allowed to play and win through the structure but those there that dont meet the criteria it's ok to do so ?? ...... so typically F*cking SPFL
Think it was Brora RangersDid Buckie not do something like this previously? I'm sure a highland league said they didn't want promotion before.
Buckie were sent 3 letters by the sfa over the season & didn’t reply to any of themBuckie surely knew that?
Just don’t fancy going up?
They tried & failed last year !!!Brechin missed out on the league by two goals. Surely they could have let them take Buckies place.
Needed a 10 year lease of the ground to satisfy the EFL rulesA similar thing happened in the National League, Gateshead denied a play-off spot because they couldn't meet ground regulations.
True. Just rather they came up than Mick Kennedys ridiculously overspending chicken merchants. They tried & failed last year !!!
It's not just ground regulations. Finance codes, Youth system all play a part in getting the licence. Why don’t Buckie try and make an agreement with Elgin to play games there if they get promoted?
Needed a 10 year lease of the ground to satisfy the EFL rules
Stadium owned by Gateshead Council and that side I think has cause the issue reading into
Might be easier and less once your are on the EFL side but i do agree it should the sameThis also caused an issue as Coventry City only signed a 5 year lease to move back into the Ricoh arena, as was.
EFL left hand not knowing what right hand is doing, as per.
Think one of the changes to Bronze Level is having an official Club Doctor present at every game, which I imagine could be difficult to arrange for some clubs. It's not just ground regulations. Finance codes, Youth system all play a part in getting the licence.
