Ridiculous statement to make. I think you’re on the wrong forum, unless it was you giving the abuse to a Rangers playerYou mean another injury .
Very convenient.

I remember the excitement of meeting the odd non-squad player walking in to the front gates or something during the late 90s/00s. It was a million miles away from what it is now. Professional grifters demanding signatures, it’s a sad state of affairs. There really is some poison in football these days. Players continually abused 24/7 on social media and now we have this.
There was a time when you could meet Rangers players at a player of the year do or even at the pub. That now seems a long time ago and it's a sad state of affairs.
Just a wider issue than moans and groans during the match, leaving with half an hour to go etc. Best fans in the world? Give me a break. There used to be a thing where we used to say Once a Ranger, Always a Ranger.
But I genuinely think nowadays a lot of players probably leave the club thinking our fans are complete idiots tbh.
There's being a demanding crowd and then there's actually hindering your own team.

Probabky some spive who sells stuff onEntitled prick. Wish some other bear had leathered him.
100% it's now made its way onto the red top papers. Clown has brought negative press to the clubI will never understand why grown men (and not just this muppet) go to "support" the team and do stuff like this. It's the same in the stands, we all know the clowns I'm talking about, that do nothing but shout "you're shite" "Just fuk off" etc. We should be together as one and being united and not acting like drunken diks.
It shouldn't be hard for security to identify this so called fan and revoke his season ticket if he has one.
Doubt it,he appears to have actually been to the game…Probably a member on here, with the abuse he takes.
Long ago I concluded that my ‘covenant’ is with the team and club as the behaviour of some of our ‘supporters’ actually makes me ashamed to be a member of the human race far less a Rangers fan. For example, the manner in which a fair number of our support treat stewards and even fellow fans at away games is, quite frankly, unforgivable and the poison posted on anti-social media gives little hope that anything will ever change.I will never have an issue with a Rangers player giving it back to our support.
Some of the abuse they take justifies the reaction.
That type of behaviour has become too normalised at Ibrox.
Ringo Starr refuses to sign autographs as he found that within 10 minutes or so it was up on ebay.Probably one of the absolute bangers that try to make a living off the back of signed stuff.
There's a few about who think players should sign absolutely everything and anything.
Why would any supporter think that putting that video out on a site would be a good thing , not you op but the person who shot it
That's the phone generation we live in unfortunately.
Some c--ts could see a car crash and their first instinct is to video the aftermath. Not phone plod or help out.
Why? You think they'll play better if arseholes are allowed to make threats?Abusing a player face to face is unacceptable
Weakly surrendering the title in the last 8 games is also unacceptable.
I don’t think it would do these players any harm to feel a bit of edge you seen in every other european country
It's entitlement, pure and simple.Technology and the access to social media has seriously ruined society.
The negativity and abuse that people have the freedom to post online has filtered to the stands at Ibrox. Ibrox was nowhere near as toxic when I got my season ticket as a 17 year old.
That’s just one of thousands of issues the mobile phone/social media obsession has caused, in my opinion.

This is it exactly, it's the same guys every other week just trying to get the players to sign tops that they can flog to us at inflated prices. Club should ban these grifters or just allow kids to the area that players pass if that's even possible.Likely not even a Rangers fan. Probably some scalper selling on eBay.
It makes you wonder why some people even bother with football or what they get out of it.I’m sick of the way that players get treated by fans - whether in that video, from the stands or on here. It’s embarrassing.
It’s given the Celtic fans all the ammo they need to set a narrative about the squad in ruins.A season defining game on Saturday and people are acting like this. Embarrassing.
So you are more deserving than someone that's been in hospitality?
Surely if they are being polite and respectful then they have as much a right to ask as you.
Should just be for autographs on programmes or books or for getting pictures taken. Any shirt getting signed (even if it's kids getting them) still likely to get sold on FB. Don't want to see the players having to run the gauntlet at the end of the game. This is it exactly, it's the same guys every other week just trying to get the players to sign tops that they can flog to us at inflated prices. Met him one time in Glasgow airport, and he couldn’t have been nicer. He was sitting having a coffee and I had a quick brief chat with him regarding the great semi final result against Celtic the previous day.I think Barasic got heart size of a pea but would never abuse the guy .he’s probably a really nice guy. Real Rangers fan would never do what that guy done.
Yep - none of this helps in the lead up to an OF game. The guys in the crowd giving it to Butland and Barisic are fucking embarrassing and bring down the good name of Rangers.
Apart from it being ridiculously childish to have a fit because they didn’t sign stuff, it’s fucking pure Timmy porn.
We are supposed to be going into a game showing no fear and we’ve got videos circulating of our players getting into it with some fans.
Some people just need to wind their fucking necks in and stop trying to out-staunch each other.
It’s embarrassing.
Tim’s are revelling in this stuff man, they are all like excitable wee bitches with all this right now. Fucking excruciating.
You mean another injury .

So if during a game a fan gives him a bit from the stands, Borna is justified to jump into the crowd to confront them? It'll make the daft mutant think again? It will teach people that their actions have consequences? It will make Borna feel better, because he's a human being like anyone else?
It doesn’t. It’s gave them all the ammo. They expect to just turn up and have us roll over also.Yep - none of this helps in the lead up to an OF game.
It wasn't exactly clear what you meantWhere did I say that?
If you come stoating out of hospitality heading to the underground and decide it’s funny to shout abuse at a player signing a kids top then you’re a bellend regardless of how much you spent to go the game.
Huge, huge difference between shouting from the stand, and abusing the guy outside the stadium on his free time when he's there signing tops for kids. As I've said already, if the guy is big enough to dish it out, he's big enough to take it. Vast majority of the support are in agreement with this.So if during a game a fan gives him a bit from the stands, Borna is justified to jump into the crowd to confront them?
The “fan” is clearly a fucking idiot and is rightly being scrutinised but Barisic should know better than to dignify people like that with a response particularly a physical one.
Players are human the same as the rest of us. There’s only so much someone can take before they flip the lid. Do we know what has been said to BB for him to act like that, do we know maybe that he hasn’t got some personal or family issues behind closed doors that’s maybe troubling him. We all have our limits. Just cause they are footballers doesn’t make them less human than the rest of usSo if during a game a fan gives him a bit from the stands, Borna is justified to jump into the crowd to confront them?

Hope the supporter gets named and shamed. Some absolute cunts in our support that seem to think they can abuse players left right and centre and expect players to just take.
Look at the reaction to Silva celebration , far too many want to give it out but can't take it when it's giving back
I've seen the Butland video. He's already got his jacket off and in the car park area.
The supporter has clearly followed him with only the fence between them. Must have been giving Jack it pretty bad to get that reaction.
