New RTV film celebrating the 1964 treble winners

Rangers TV tonight has premiered their latest film, a tribute to the iconic 1964 team who beat Dundee 3-1 in the Scottish Cup final to clinch the club's second treble. A team full of true greats, and a 33 minute video that does them justice. 60 years have now passed, but an occasion and a team that is immortal.

Features interviews with Sir Alex Ferguson, Archie McPherson, Willie Henderson and John Greig amongst the many famous faces paying tribute, and includes fantastic old interviews with several of the great 1960s team who are no longer with us.

Look closely and you'll also see a couple of Follow Follow admins!

Willie Henderson's late winner at the piggery in September 1962 at 1:07, not long after Crerand had missed a penalty for that lot after being psyched out by Jim Baxter. I don't think I've seen it from that angle before!

Gilzean played in that game, as did Andy Penman. Dundee had a right good team in those days.

For those with a Rangers TV subscription, there's something in this film that was totally new to me. After all these years obsessing about Rangers and trying to learn as much club history as I can, this is the first time I have ever heard Scot Symon's voice! His audio interview in it is the only time I can remember hearing him speak.
