Non Rangers 2022 Summer Transfer Thread

Marcelo feels like a proper Champ Man signing when you just sign some c*nt you know, seems totally removed from what Leicester have generally done well.

Hes a corned beef face c*nt but Rodgers has been let down by them this summer

Are Leicester not massively in debt just now though?

90 million is absolutely mental.

He's a good, solid player but nothing special IMO.

The sums in the Premiership are almost just immaterial now aren't they? Not playing the same game as the rest of us.
You do have to wonder where it all ends as far as transfer fees and wages are concerned.

There is only so much fans will be willing to pay in terms of tickets and tv subscriptions.

Was having a look on a Villa forum and he seems to be the man they want to replace Gerrard.

Did the sell on stand the test of time?

Not sure we were actually allowed to do that and sure it went to a trial?

Another wee bonus.

If we dont sign another player this window we will regret it.

So much money coming into the club right now and we are still light in CH and attack imo penny pinching if we dont buy at least 1 more.
Light at centre half? You might not think there’s enough quality or be concerned about the number of them on or likely to be on the treatment (and I’d agree with that overall) but we’re heavy in that position with 6 including King vying for 2 slots.

The other issue is: who do we sign? I’d be worried if we were signing players in hope rather than because they’re the right player for the team.

Not ITK re the sell on but agree that anything we can get in is a bonus.

We will see approximately £1.3m for Gilmour.

Well. We wont, but it'll come into the club one way or another.

They got him from us for buttons. Think it was about 400k

15% of 9.6m
They paid substantially more than they needed to pay us. Given his age all they were really due to pay was the Development Fee, which was relative buttons. We got more in the initial payment, we've already had some add-ons due to his first team appearances and if this rumour is true we are getting a significant add-on from his move to Brighton. All told it looks like we will get over £2m on the deal - when he could probably have walked away for a cost of less than £400k to Chelsea.

Of course we have to deduct the small fine we got from UEFA related to that transfer and the way we and Chelsea went about it. Chelsea ended up with a transfer ban for their transfer dealings and Gilmour was one of the many deals they did that fell foul of the rules.

15%. Just add that to all the income over the last few months. Yet no movement in the window today when we need it.

Complete and utter negligence from the Rangers board.

another newbie just signed up laying into the board!

certainly a theme been building the last few days on here amongst "newbies"!

Just need a Dave King announcement now, all his lackies doing his bidding!

Kudus is refusing to train as well as he wants to leave think we might be getting them at the right time.
Hopefully. If only we weren’t so hamstrung by injuries. Our squad depth isn’t filling me with confidence.
