Lazio badly need a striker.

None of their wingers score often, Castellano isn’t good and Immobile is looking like he’s done. Reckon they win 1-0 here

Zacagni be lucky to come out second half.

Had a poor game, been booked and just started a handbags riot as half time blew. Can see him being subbed.

Lecce should be a couple of goals infront.

AC Milan's strip tonight is surely the nadir of commercialist tat?

I'll bet these colours are never replicated anywhere amongst the flags of the Curva Sud.

Modern football :(

Udinese fans made a complete c@nt of themselves with their behaviour.

I can never figure out the motive of racist chants against opposition players when your own team has several of a similar background.

Milan have deserved this, despite their awful strip.

Real winning Calcio will return on Monday evening when Inter thump Napoli, you've heard it here first.

First half ends 0-0 in Riyadh in a pretty average game so far.

Inter's had the majority of the play with the ball in the net once rightly ruled out for offside, Napoli has had it's moments too but nothing worthy of note.

Hoping for a better second half.

Tonight's Derby d'Italia gets off to a stunning start with the Curva Nord's Medusa choreography

Edit: Info update.
The banners say:

Inter are so far ahead I can let my eye drift down the table and Bologna is definitely the surprise of the season so far.

They're not a diddy club, seven times champions (albeit the last was in 64). It would be marvellous to see them gain the Champions League spot, though Atalanta remain in the driving seat.

And following up . . . .

What a massive result for Bologna today, they've gone to Bergamo and beaten Atalanta 2-1, with a certain young Scotsman getting on the scoreline.

The Rossoblù go 4 points ahead of their closest challengers and that Champions League spot is within their grasp.

They're the story of the Serie A season so far.

This thread has gone quiet recently.

Salernitana's relegation just to be crossed and dotted, but otherwise a few in the mix to join them.

Juventus keep up their recent momentum in dropping points, and city rivals Toro are today's beneficiaries.

Bologna can take another solid step to CL football next season by beating Monza tonight, their best season in 60 years, who would begrudge them?

And with an Inter victory over Cagliari tomorrow (and who'd bet against it?), the Nerazzurri have the awesome prospect of effectively winning Lo Scudetto, and Two Stars for their shirt, in the "away" match next Sunday against their city cousins.

One Azzurri and Nerazzurri legend is looking forward to the prospect.

2-1 Napoli.

Instinctive finish by Osimhen, but very poor from the defender being so slow to push out after the initial cross is cleared.

Roma v Bologna on now, huge game for CL qualification.

Bologna looking dangerous. Ref just wrongly booked Parades, in my opinion.

Acrobatic goal by El Azzouzi. Bit of aggro afterwards. Decent claim for a high boot but the goal stands.
