Seeing the highlights just there from the Aberdeen semi - Just get a half decent delivery into the box - between the the CBs and Hart they are on a hiding to nothing, Hart doesn't come and the CBs hate turning (see CVV for their first) - they give up a lot of width with their narrow midfield 3 and deliveries while good from Hoilett today - he had a lot of space to execute.

You hope the watching managers taking notes - they are absolutely there for the taking.

We scored 3 against them on 45 minutes (4 if you include the disallowed goal)

Yip its defending against them where we have a real problem. If we dont get cut open by them someone in our back 4 will tend make a cvnt of a blunder similar to that aberdeen defender today.
 
Play through them every time for me.

A decent attack mid/10, whatever you want to call it. Just someone who drifts into the space in-between midfield and defence and can link up with a competent, mobile striker. Or have two strikers who can link up with the 10/each other.

"Other" managers don't need to take notes... Plenty of them have already took something off them (and us)
 
We drew a blank then got a fluke goal and a penalty in our last two matches, we need to worry more about scoring against everyone else first.
 
Amazed Aberdeen managed to score 1 let alone 3 given how much the BBC commentary team kept bigging up Carter-Vickers. You would think it is impossible for Celtic to concede a goal when he's on the park. The fact both us and Aberdeen put 3 past them shows they can easily be got at. Our problem is not having brain farts at the back.

Yep the senior defenders will shit it again and again until they are benched which doesn't look likely even after what PC witnessed in the last game against the scum,surely he can see it or is somebody higher than our manager nudging him to never drop them,,?.⁷
 
We've had games where we have punted cross after cross after cross into them and they've just headered them away. Scales was woeful, but he won't be there for long. We need to stop playing dinosaur football and get the ball into the box in more creative ways - we desperately need to move beyond this type of football.

Countless average European teams have proven over the years that without their lackey officials, they are extremely vulnerable. If Aberdeen applied the same tactics today v them in the league maybe they wouldn't go years without getting a result.
 
Just highlights how fkn hopeless and clueless we are. And we are supposed to be a superior team to to the sheep. WTF.

Thats my regret we will never have a better chance of winning the title, make no mistake about it, Rogers ain't no mug and will heavily strengthen them over the summer, we have screwed up yet again and all because we simply can't beat them.
 
The general consensus from them (through work group chats) is that thankfully our players are bottlers because they know they are shite.

I don’t normally speak about us like this but it’s a sobering reality now and sadly has been for a while.

It goes beyond just normal bad defending. The number of goals we've gifted them with individual errors so ridiculous it would be comical if it wasn't so tragic, is horrendous. We need to get a grip of that.
 
The biggest issue is how we deal with the press. Our players aren’t good enough on the ball to handle it. Dundee smelt blood and caused us problems with it. Some folk might not like it, but playing long for me is our best hope with these players. We need to get some guys who are better on the ball than what we have.

Hart was at fault for 2 of the goals.

I think he’s going with what he’s got to be honest, PC seems like the real deal when it comes to management, I only hope he is as ruthless as what he needs to be. We can all see it time and again, surely a man in his profession can too!
