The cost of success

Do teams need to have a bad side to become winners?

Barca face charges for bribing refs, Munich continue to buy the best players in the league, Juventus have faced multiple bribery allegations and teams like PSG use Oil money to achieve success.

For us do we need to become the bad guys to win? Are having 'bad' guys like Morelos key? Should we put more pressure on SFA and refs?
Do we need to have richer owners to win? Can we maximize any decisions in our favor?

Q for all football fans, but most prominent for us to overcome a team with a bad side (putting it mildly)

Just to get this right your comparing CELTICS crimes commited against CHILDREN as the same as financial gains by other sports clubs

Do clubs need to molest children to win trophies?

It's an interesting take I'll give you that.

  • Investing properly
  • Selling on
  • Reinvesting
  • Getting the right players in
  • Good manager
  • Good staff
You've been watching too much Ted Lasso or The Godfather.

If it's bad guys that win trophies then perhaps we should try scouting the below

HMP Barlinnie
HMP Polmont

and so on.....

Give it a rest

Don't believe OP was in any way referring to child abuse but about their black arts resulting in every major decision going their way
100% we need to counter it. Without the cheating this season there's every possibility the league would have been won
It's not going to be quick and we may have to bring in some campaign type expertise to strategies this
We need to get supporters I'm the MSM to speak out. The club needs to highlight major injustices as well as minor. Two of many examples. Desser's penalty shout on Saturday. It was a stonewall. Where's the outrage? McAusland kicked out for 8 weeks or whatever. Why did they get it so wrong? Where's the retrospective punishment.
Clearly there are many other examples which we need to make front and centre of the news. We need to make it embarrassing for them
In terms of shit housing players we need to be careful. If we are to find them we need ones who are very clever at toeing the line. The refs Celtic supporters club are very quick with the cards so it's a matter of just pushing far enough. As things stand a Rangers player will get away with much less than one of them

They’ve been more successful due to the free hits from 2012 & us being on a road to recovery add in poor managerial appoints, transfer policy and trading model. We’ve went back the way at an alarming rate since 55 due to holding onto some of the old guard far too long, and not selling players at their highest point then allowing them to leave for free.
