The Muppet Mob wanting Super Jack redcarded

Let’s humour them for a minute and pretend it was even a foul. A red card would be for denying a goal scoring opportunity, I’m not the brightest, but I’m not sure how that could be the case when the contact came after Jack had already booted the ball a mile away from the goal.

Let's see if it ends up on ref watch. Gallagher will laugh at it if it does and say the same as any other sensible person that if anything it's an accidental collision the St Mirren player could have avoided.

Red card for going out and kicking the ball and the St Mirren player coming in late on him?

It was the St Mirren player that made the situation dangerous by arriving so late.

It wasn’t even a foul.
If anything the st Mirren player runs into Butland. It should have been a foul to Rangers. Butland clears the ball and there is about a 4 yard gap, so st Mirren player could have slowed down or stopped imo

That goes without saying, we've been hated since the day we were born and always will be.

Jealousy is a terrible thing.
We were not hated when we were born and when Scum club emerged in east of Glasgow, we were widely held as Scotland's team against the Irish club. Yes there were petty jealousies but overall in Scotland we were the favoured club. Things change with Alex Salmond and SNP who demonised us and the OO and developed a small minded Scottishness that hated anything English. With Souness revolution and influx of English players the jealousies started. In early 1980s there was a big effort to get catholics into positions of power and we as a support slept as they engineered themselves to positions of power in press, media, football authorities and courts.

We were once viewed as Scotland's club and it was us who supported Scotland football team Scum fans were few and far between. Since 1990s we gave on Scotland and Hamish and Dougal from wee clubs took over.

Scottish nationalism has seen us isolated and scum have set agenda in media to put forward Rangers bad Celtic good.

Hopefully the SNP are on way out and we can have a more sensible view of Scotlands position in Union.

The whole reaction from them is totally retarded, they are convinced Hart would have been banned for 3 games if it was him.

You obviously don't know one of the more obscure laws of the game. Law 25 specifically states that, "If on an April Sunday a Rangers FC goalkeeper leaves his penalty area to clear the ball upfield and does not immediately dematerialise before an opposing player runs in to collide with him, a cautionable offence will have been committed which should result in the award of both a free kick to the opposing team and a caution issued to the Rangers goalkeeper".

Not disagreeing with you at all mate, you make good points.

We were singing 'no one likes us, we don't care' long before Salmond appeared on the scene.

Rangers Derangement Syndrome.
These people need help, guy runs into Butland 1-2 seconds after he clears the ball.
RDS crackpots

That prick leckie says it was a clear red card for cementing the st mirren player, the fact this moron has been voted sports journalist of the year in this tinpot country tells you all when he doesn’t even know the rules(a bit like our refs I suppose).

It wasn't even a foul, nevermind a booking.
As many folk have already said on here.

You can't argue with stupidity though.
Came on to say the exact same thing,If they start giving fouls for these type of incidents never mind cards,The game's a bogey.

I’d say the internet age has certainly ramped things up to the next level. You’ve got muppets out there whose full time job it is to pump out anti-Rangers propaganda 365 days a year and it never gets challenged on our side.

The just ignore them attitude of the last 25 years certainly doesn’t help cause a sizeable portion of idiots in Scotland genuinely believe a lot of stuff posted online these days.

Till we stop being weak minded as a club absolutely nothing will change in fact it’s probably going to get worse.

The yahoo board are absolutely light years ahead in terms of propaganda and controlling the media narrative.

You can tell them that until the cows come home, and they will still stick their fingers in their ears and sing loudly.

Maybe, but that song was a rip off from Millwall and we adopted it with our own take.

i"ll give them one thing , they're relentless, their paranoia and their continual degrading of anything to do with our club borders on utter lunacy , the diseased mind of your average enabler knows no bounds, all that Donegall inbreeding with the c@nts showing through

Butland deals with it superbly, takes the ball in the safest way for him...

Imagine if he goes for it on his head or chest and the attacker goes in like Roofe did in Europe few seasons ago he could end up in hospital.

Can also see him lose his footing a bit as I think he tries to stop as he knows he's going to get hit which doesn't help him.

Even under serious foul play rule he's not endangering the safety of the opponent and its not reckless. Can hardly be classed as a goalscoring opportunity either given Butland has cleared the ball by the time the St Mirren player is anywhere near him.

You'd think this was Schumacher vs Battiston v2.0 the way some people are going on about it.

It's not even a foul ffs.

To a point they're not wrong. It was never a foul, but once the foul is given it has to be a red for denial of a goalscoring opportunity. But if a red was given VAR intervenes and corrects the mistake so by booking him Walsh can get away with his horrendous decision.

I said at the time it was more of a red card than a yellow.

A red card would be for dangerous play, being out of control, which there is more of an argument for (you'd still be wrong) than booking him for a foul.

Giving a yellow was truly a mad decision.

It was a sleekit, calculated decision to make sure St Mirren got the free kick. Red card and VAR automatically has to look at it and advise Walsh to have a look and change his decision. Yellow and he gets away with it.

It's being going for years you don't even need muppets you just need someone who has twitter network off dummy accounts to auto feed a narrative they are paid for.

Those accounts normally auto follow people with amount of friends posts and or certain things ie football clubs and tHouse that follow that account and then all of a sudden 50 shares comments becomes 500 becomes 50k shares while sucking in the mentalists

Post much with free clicks of a button.

doubt they could even attempt to justify a red given that the St Mirren player doesn't have the ball at any point and its cleared before he's even reached Jack

its 100% not a goal scoring opportunity
