Hindsight is a wonderful thing, should’ve started on Saturday and Sterling should’ve been in midfield. Would 100% keep him around for next season.

I totally agree - our fans are far too quick at losing patience with young players when their form dips a bit and then write them off. We have been doing this for years.

Maintained he is a good footballer, problem he has is his poor physique / lack of strength whilst not being particularly quick. Nice balance about him cutting inside, but ultimately just not an athlete and it’s a problem in the modern game.

I don't think he's been 100% fit since his injury, people should consider that before being overly critical. He's a good player with a lot of potential to develop further.

His goal from absolutely nowhere just before HT was really important for us imo.

The criticism of him not stopping crosses in is a bit harsh, especially the second one where he was left out on the wing (without a RB anywhere behind him) to mark two players at their free kick -- an impossible task.
