Ross has been getting it in the neck on here the last couple of days.he stood up when more senior players were going into hiding after it went to 2-0 and dragged us back into that game when he scored his goal.also his fantastic sliding tackle was the catalyst for the equaliser and it got the crowd up.

He was culpable in us losing both goals. We have to factor that in as well.

Hope it renews his belief in himself a bit and boosts his confidence. Second half he was more like the dynamic, looking to drive forward quickly, player that broke into the team.

He was excellent tonight after having been out injured for a while as well, starting to get back up to speed and could have a big say in the Cup Final, just got a feeling.

We were a better team when he was playing regularly.

I know his form dipped a bit but the balance he provided to the team, his enthusiasm and the support for tavernier was noticeably missed when he dropped out the team.
Tonight was his 14th start in the league for us, the way some fans have written him off aready is really disappointing.

We look at Lewis Ferguson and say we should have signed him when we had the chance, but it took him a hell of lot more than 14 SPFL starts to develop into the player he is now so maybe we should give our younger players a chance to develop a bit and see more 2nd half's like tonight from them.

He could have stopped the crosses and had an easier chance to put us one up. Fair play for his comeback/.

I totally agree - our fans are far too quick at losing patience with young players when their form dips a bit and then write them off. We have been doing this for years.

Missed an absolute sitter.
Allowed a cross which cost us a goal.
Allowed another cross which cost us a 2nd goal.
He had to step up 2nd half.
Thats my view. Played well second half but overall, not good enough yet to be a starter. Maybe a bit part squad player for bext season though. That would mean we have actually brought in talent out wide.

Maintained he is a good footballer, problem he has is his poor physique / lack of strength whilst not being particularly quick. Nice balance about him cutting inside, but ultimately just not an athlete and it’s a problem in the modern game.

His movement across the front was a major part of the danger our frontline posed.

His goal from absolutely nowhere just before HT was really important for us imo.

The criticism of him not stopping crosses in is a bit harsh, especially the second one where he was left out on the wing (without a RB anywhere behind him) to mark two players at their free kick -- an impossible task.

That was Ross’s best 45 in a Rangers strip.

Just wow.

Fantastic attitude, covered so much ground, and the quality returned to his game tonight.

Take a bow young man.
