When was the last penalty we were actually given by a ref without VAR intervening?

Not sure, but someone posted a stat yesterday that claimed only 3 out of the 16 penalties we’ve been awarded were directly by the ref.

The three penalties we have been awarded in real time

St Johnstone at home A Muir
Livingston away S McLean
Hearts home J Beaton

The thirteen penalties that have required VAR intervention

Kilmarnock home, Ref D Dickinson. VAR S Kirkland
Ross County away, Ref M McDermid VAR A Dallas
Celtic home ref J Beaton VAR N Walsh
Hibs home ref D Dickinson VAR A Dallas
Motherwell home Ref A Muir VAR E Anderson
St Johnstone away Ref M McDermid VAR G Aitken TWICE
Dundee home Ref K Clancy VAR S Kirkland
Aberdeen away Ref N Walsh VAR A Dallas
Livingston away Ref S McLean VAR S Kirkland
Dundee away Ref K Clancy VAR G Duncan
Hearts home Ref J Beaton VAR A Muir
St Mirren away Ref N Walsh VAR S Kirkland

Does anyone know the last penalty Clancy awarded us in real time ?

Not sure if the stats are similar for other teams, but I've been wondering if refs are using VAR as a crutch? Are they thinking "no need to make contentious penalty calls, VAR will pick it up for me".

And how many have we had since then?
The Rings supporting propaganda ramped up the pressure to use VAR against us it was then used and in all decisions around us were treated like crime scenes!

With analysis after analysis used until either nothing was found or the most miniscule of things could be found to not give us the correct decision!

That's exactly how var is being used. Refs are deferring to it

Celtic have had 8 out of 15 penalties awarded in real time by the ref so more than 50%. We’ve had 3 out of 15.

What it tells you is referees aren’t scared to give decisions to celtic, as they know VAR aren’t going to challenge them, how many penalties have you seen overturned ?

Hence the reason Walsh can give ridiculous decisions like the penalty to celtic at Tynecastle when Kyogo flung himself in to the defender, knowing no one will challenge him, but conversely book Boyle v celtic at Easter Road for clear contact.

The sterling penalty at st Johnstone exposed it. Literally everyone said penalty except the ref, who waited for the var call

St Johnstone at Ibrox when Dessers was brought down was the last one we've been given in real time in the league. Think the most recent was foul on Sterling at Easter Road in the cup.

Yesterday was our 7th penalty since then and all 7 have went to VAR to be given.

Literally right under the nose of the linesman aswell that one. The most blatant penalty you’ll ever see aswell

Yet, we still have our own supporters moan about VAR!
