Wasn’t a pop mate, fully agreed with your point. Many will be lying if they haven’t said something discriminatory or chanted something however just felt it was fair to use your point as a wider base to show them for the scum they are AND yet again here we fucking are being treated to a different set of standards again and again and again

I really wish EVERYONE with social media would keep this story alive and keep asking questions to GCU and UNICEF because if we let this drop because of apathy then, we cant whine and bitch on here when he is back on social media having a pop at us as, we would have let him do it. It will be a disgrace in my opinion if those with social media don't bother to do anything.

It takes 5 minutes to post a question about this on either both the sites mentioned or even one but, can those with social media just please do something

Spot on. Someone above said outside of us no one really cares about their IRA chanting and there probably is some truth to that unfortunately.

It seems like 99% of cultural output (films, comedies/documentaries) from Northern Ireland is from the Nationalist side where Unionists/Protestants are often demonised. Protestants told to forgive and forget, yet the most you ever hear about the Troubles in the media is Bloody Sunday and the lingering & “justified” bitterness. The atrocities from the other side seem to be completely swept under the carpet. If you object, you’re called a bigot yourself.

So all the realities of what the IRA were and the murders/destruction they were responsible for is forgotten and they’re then romanticised over. It’s insulting that someone brainlessly shouting “f the head of a organised religion” is given 10000x more attention than chants about a murderous gang.

If he does get away with this and his honorary degree isnt taken from him and he still takes part in soccer aid then that's our fault as a support for showing such apathy and not working as a loud voice on social media and instead being a whimper!

Can ALL WITH SOCIAL MEDIA please just get involved with this and either contact one or both (UNICEF & Glasgow Caledonian University) as this is just going to be totally dropped by the media if we do not do something.

There really is zero excuse for anyone with social media not to do something and we could please just make a massive effort with this today we may just see him booted off Soccer Aid and having honorary Doctor of letters from GCU taken from him. The links are there to contact all involved so please just do something today and show we are a loud roar as a support and not a sad whimper who will moan and bitch on here but who in reality just sits and does nothing to be heard.

It would just be fantastic if we all with social media could at the same time bombard Twitter and facebook with the video of him singing and the UNICEF/singing mash up video & ask if is honorary degree is getting taken from him. This needs a large group of posters at the same time to make this noticeable and make them sit up about this.

Still waiting on all the Scottish MPs issuing statements of their disgust and waiting on all the anti-sectarian groups issuing statements all over the media of their disgust at these songs being sung at an official Celtic FC event although I suspect it'll be a long wait.

It was dead two days after it. News moves on and the little prick doubled down for two days and let it drift into obscurity. Anyone waiting for action from anyone about this will be waiting forever more. I’m in the hope someone gives him a sore one camp. Would enjoy that.

Now please can we push this because GCU is taking notice so if more complain on social media, he will be stripped of his Doctor of Letters award as GCU are super strict on equality and diversity and mutual respect.
