Nnamdi Ofoborh

Think the latest news was he was to see another specialist as there was debate about whether he could return to light training or not.

Of course the player has a contract and we will fulfil it the club have a duty of care so fully expect us to do everything we can to help and support the player and hopefully he can get his health issues sorted.

What's the latest on this guy. Are we ever going to see this guy in a Rangers Jersey.

Still be seeing by cardiologists, a good number of them and still unable to training for football. He’s allowed little gym work and is at the RTC one or twice a week and at home for the rest.

I think the last thing is wether he plays for us or not but that his condition is taking care of and he can live for a long and be reasonably healthy. It would be a bonus for him to return to football.

Another in a long line of absolute shit shows from our medical dept. These types of signings just never seem to happen at Celtic yet we constantly get guys who hardly ever play.

Away you go!! Why bring them into it? Inter have arguably the best dr’s and missed Eriksen’s and according to Wycombe when they loaned him after he passed out medical nothing showed in theirs either.

You can't hold this against the medical department. The issue that he has would not have been picked up in a medical and he is very lucky we dis further checks and picked it up.

Our medical department has failings but this is not one of them . We should feel sorry for a young player who out of the blue has had his world turned upside down

How come Inter missed Eriksson heart failure? Or Spurs ? Or Ajax ?.
Phil O'Donnell ?
Some heart conditions can't be picked up in a medical.
Any other reasons to have a go ?

Surely the issues he has with his heart are way past the capabilities of our medical department ?

Would imagine it's more outside sources dealing with his health issues than the club

After 2 years of not playing even if he had a miraculous recovery he ain't going to come back the same player. We just never got to see what sort of player he was.

Not sure why people think he might actually play for us at this stage tbh.

I'm not saying I believe it mate, I have saw some stuff about it but for me I'd need to hear him say it before I believed it
Yeah I know mate. Things often get easily misperceived and over exaggerated on here. I'll stand corrected if someone posts it and I think the same myself.

Marc Vivian Foe, Dani Jarque and Miko Feher too. Luckily for Muamaba he survived it just the shit side of the sport that for all the dr’s and science it can’t be helped.

Surely his contract must be up in about 6 months unless we gave him a mental deal ?

More chance of seeing me in a match day squad unfortunately

Good luck to the boy. Glad we’ve done the right thing but he won’t kick a competitive ball for us

You probably have no idea but do you know anything to what all those Instagram stories were about? Or why the club and him unfollowed each other. Is he upset at how we've handled things?

Luton boy last week. 3 years he's been there and played for a decade and in over 430 games.

Anyone having a go at the medical department for this need their head examined.

Looking at those two pictures I do feel for him, he’s hurting and been through a lot

Even if he’s only on about 5k a week it doesn’t cut it saying “5k a week to do nothing” (but ignoring you’re probably getting bloods and scans took weekly and playing waiting games)

That also said, if it’s a dig at us I’ve no idea what for - we’ve been nothing but supportive and fulfilled every single duty of care obligation

I believe it was him expressing his frustration in relation to some of the specialist opinions refuting what others had been telling him and him/the club are seeking another specialist opinion.

He can do light training, but is obviously frustrated that he can’t actually run about and do what he loves.

He’s never kicking a ball for us

We have a duty of care for the boy though. And for all blame the medical staff could get this ain’t one

No idea Beale said that he was being moved to another cardiologist to have their opinion as Ofoborh wasn’t happy with one or more of them that he had seen already, possibly something to do with that.

The usual monthly post about this man.

I'll say what I said before.

If he ends up playing for us - I'm fine with that.

If our medical team spotted something that prevented 50,000 (or the away troops at any other ground) of us watching an event similar or worse than we had to endure with Eriksen, and he never kicks a ball for us and has a long and happy life - I'm fine with that.

The guys health and long term future is the only thing that matters here.
