If you believe that I have some magic beans to sell youWe get more tickets at their place than they do at Ibrox and it stops the inevitable discourse in the run up to OF games. That's a huge win in my book.

Correct, many of us evolve our entire lives around following Rangers home, away and in Europe. We should have pushed for 3000 unrestricted tickets minimum across the SPFL. Would have given us an advantage as we would have got 3.5 to 4k there including all the restricted view. Under this "deal" the board have struck we will be lucky to get 2.5k.
Feyenoord got 2700 for their euro allocation recently at parkhead, that's what we will be getting IMO.“Around” 5% means 2500 for both
It’s still good news though.
As others have said. There is zero confirmation that we will get more seats. They will reduce the allocation based on security and segregation. We get more tickets at their place than they do at Ibrox and it stops the inevitable discourse in the run up to OF games. That's a huge win in my book.
Your brother must be special.No. They are getting put in the corner where the Euro allocation is.
My brother is in BR1, he’s already received an email confirming the changes won’t effect him.
Sky can't force us into anything. The board need to agree to it and it looks like they have.Negotiation is not our strong point - if Sky forced us into to this, then there is limited room for negotiation. However, if this is just an spfl play, why comply? They’ve done f””” all with Celtic giving us zero?
If we were smart, then we’d play the long game and move them to the club deck and put netting in etc. This should be our end game from this, not to have them front and centre for everyone to see them.
The fans going don’t careWe get by sounds of it still restricted view tickets and they get prime view ... thats not a good deal
Good for you mate. It’s this utter selfishness that landed us in the corner whilst they had the full Broomloan stand in the first place. It will be mate, i can't wait personally.
The club banned them not the fans. They are devious rats on celtic board and they will demand more and more . They get decent seats with uninterrupted view while we get stuck in a rat infested corner out of the way. I personally don't want them polluting our stadium. Why?
Plenty are in favour.
Its not 5%, right now the SPFL have briefed every media organisation that its "around 5%". If we were getting 3000 tickets it would have been announced as that. You have just made that up. If its 5% then it's 3000 tickets. Segregation doesn't take away from tickets.
way too much negativity on this ..... we've a treble to go forHow much harm are 2.5k of them going to do to us? They'll still be vastly outnumbered by bears.
It'll be bears visiting the piggery who will be at risk, but the vast majority attending will be aware of this and know how to handle themselves.
I hate the bastards and I have sympathy for the argument of prioritising Rangers ST holders over them, but people need to stop acting like big jessies who are scared of the big bad mentally challengeds.
Then maybe someone should speak to out club who have released a statement saying both clubs will be required to provide 5% of their stadia to the away team. Its not 5%, right now the SPFL have briefed every media organisation that its "around 5%". If we were getting 3000 tickets it would have been announced as that.
The Euro area they give teams isn't even 3000 and if the police allow that for an old firm game I will be amazed. It would have our away end directly below them for part of the section.
We get by sounds of it still restricted view tickets and they get prime view ... thats not a good deal
I agre I hope they have if not utterly spinless as alwaysThere is NO WAY our board got a deal in our favour .So naive it’s unreal. I’m sick of them already. Utter cucks
How any of our fans can see this as a win is beyond me. Stuck in the corner (I've been there) with a shite view.
No you don’tThat’s wrong. I know loads of folk who go to away games who think this is an awful decision
This is exactly what the club have said. Our OWN fans are missing out on going to the game to accommodate away support. Our board’s negotiating skills are risibleIf current ST holders in that area aren't guaranteed a ticket elsewhere then that's bang out of order
This for me.dump them at the top of the Club Deck to get them out of site with net to protect the Bears below them.
That's not the point though. Registering in those circumstances like you mentioned, at least gave you a small chance of a ticket at Parkhead if you were in Silver. If Rangers are going to just give tickets specifically to Gold members and don't offer at least a few to Silver/Bronze like they've been doing since MyGers started then they'd need to close registration for Silver/Bronze because they aren't going to get a ticket anyway. In the season just passed if someone registered for even one match they got the 5 points.
If someone chooses not to register for all and receives no tickets as a result so not getting the 10 points for away tickets over a season. Then that really is on them and no one else.
Then maybe someone should speak to out club who have released a statement saying both clubs will be required to provide 5% of their stadia to the away team.
If I'm selfish for wanting to follow my team all over the county I'm guilty mate I'm not going to deny that.Good for you mate. It’s this utter selfishness that landed us in the corner whilst they had the full Broomloan stand in the first place.
Its not 5% we are getting and should not be portrayed as such.
What a ridiculous thing to sayNo you don’t
This is the best and fairest suggestion I’ve read on this thread. The club should be looking into thisAny season ticket holder who is denied their own seat should be offered a ticketfor the piggery.
given its the same amount of away fans as a maximum , how is not comparable ?We’re now removing guaranteed sales and significant foot traffic from the two biggest games of the season, all to accommodate an away support.
It definitely sounds like the Rangers business model.
European nights are not really comparable.
Nothing to do with being on camera. We are being told that we are getting more tickets than them. We will get 2700 max based on the allocation the bheasts give to euro teams. The rangers support will be stuck in the corner whilst that lot get premier unobstructed views when they come to our stadium.Perhaps people just want to see their team play in the biggest away game of the season, and don't care about whether they're on camera or the view from their seat?
What the f()ck are you talking about? His section in BR is not impacted by the changes? The club have already started sending out emails.Your brother must be special.
Hopefully could get raised by fan media and clarify if its 3000 tickets we are getting. If its anything less then its a poor deal from our end. Then maybe someone should speak to out club who have released a statement saying both clubs will be required to provide 5% of their stadia to the away team.
Means more for us.When it says 'around 5%', does that mean 5% or not? Could mean a fairly significant difference in real terms numbers.
Correction. It means 300 short.Means more for us.
Yep 100% agree. The vague statement by SPFL basically confirms there isn't a set amount. It allows either club to be honest, to subtract seats for a variety of reason. Segregation, policing, security, access points etc. So for the SPFL to be so vague means it's open to interpretation and Celtic will intentionally reduce the 5%.Hopefully could get raised by fan media and clarify if its 3000 tickets we are getting. If its anything less then its a poor deal from our end.
given its the same amount of away fans as a maximum , how is not comparable ?
Liverpool 2600
tims 2600
"Celtc stance pays off" is the headlineWe've caved in, as usual. Just appalling.
The biggest take on this, for me.So they lied about safety
This ^Anyone who thinks it’s bad simply doesn’t go to away games.
Common sense has prevailed and I can’t wait to go back there at the start of next season
