Absolute hyperbole pishNo chance. He’s gone.
Manager has literally just said he’ll be here next seasonNo chance. He’s gone.
We hope he knows. Will be a different outcome in the summer he knows the bulk of this squad needs moved on and that includes Goldson.
If he doesn't gut this squad he will be out of a job by Christmas.
He’s unlikely to say anything else to be fair. Hopefully he’ll be out the door along with a few others
Well he’s hardly going to say he wants rid is he?Manager has literally just said he’ll be here next season
Must be true then.Manager has literally just said he’ll be here next season
Some folk are totally clueless mate.Impossible for him to say anything else
He volunteered the info re next season. If he wanted him gone he doesn’t mention next season.Well he’s hardly going to say he wants rid is he?
I think he just said that as a follow up to his comment “he’ll have his part to play over the next few weeks” so it didn’t sound like it’s last season. I’d be very surprised if he’s here after the summer. He’s been dropped and he’s one of our highest earners; he has to go.He wouldn’t mention next season at all if he didn’t want him here. Depressing.
He didn’t have to mention next season at all. He wasn’t asked about next season. He was asked about the defence and making changes.Must be true then.
What did you want him to say?
He's wanting to get top dollar for him. If a Saudi team comes in he's an important part and we want this for him.He didn’t have to mention next season at all. He wasn’t asked about next season. He was asked about the defence and making changes.
He and the rest of the “leaders” in the squad will cost you your job Phil.
Some logic. The manager has five big games coming up.
He is marrying diplomacy and man management to maximise results.
His real thoughts are not for sharing with a hostile media and not just regarding Goldson.
With a decent scouting network you could probably find a better player on less wages than Goldson let's be honest.Hopefully he stays he's still his best defender when he's on his game the problem is we've rarely had enough in form or fit defenders at the same time to challenge him or for him to lose his place... hopefully being dropped and the challenge he has now pushes him to how good he can play. He's rarely injured, almost always available and played some amount of games a rest will do him no harm.
We struggle to replace anyone with better players most windows, we should be careful what we wish for.
If we want to get as much money as we can for him in the summer we have to at least give the impression that he’s part of the plans for next season. To think otherwise is naive in the extreme! He wouldn’t mention next season at all if he didn’t want him here. Depressing.

We've became so complacent and stubborn that we think there isn't better out there that has to change going forward.
