100%I get Greegsy’s flap and our innumerable sitters are what ultimately cost the game but this was the systematic change where it all went tits up
Incredibly negative and just invited pressure, it was the turning point in the game, big mistake from Gerrard imo
It's not blaming Davis. It's the change signaling we are going to try and hold on for 15 minutes. Here we go again, let’s find a way to blame Davis again for dropping points.
Couldn’t make this up.
I don't think he's blaming Davis, more putting on players that make us sit deeper. Here we go again, let’s find a way to blame Davis again for dropping points.
Couldn’t make this up.
Maybe we need to get someone on the ball and control it again, after the 10 minutes previously Hearts where getting a lot of the ball in dangerous positions. It's not blaming Davis. It's the change signaling we are going to try and hold on for 15 minutes.
Got away with it against Hibs, didn't get away with it today.
Not an attack on Davis, fwiw I still think we are better when he plays over JL but trying to compromise by playing both has cost us on multiple occasions nowHere we go again, let’s find a way to blame Davis again for dropping points.
Couldn’t make this up.
Yet even in the second half, we made enough good chances to win several games.Gerrard was completely out thought by Nielson. The tactical tweaks at half time had us lose control of the game and Gerrards changes made the gap even wider.
It's clear he is done, he has been great but it's clear he us finished.Davis is done
Sad but true
Closing Hearts down in the first half showed them up to be a very average outfit. You can have Davis or Lundstrum but not both.
However there was a few factors for today, Davis wasn't one of them.
Manager has to take responsibility for everything other than McGregor's stupid mistake.
He kept Morelos on when he should have been hooked a long time ago.
Patterson should have been playing not Tav (who gave away a stupid, needless foul that led to the corner for their goal)
and his tactics seen us sitting in with 20-minutes to go inviting pressure and playing on the counter-attack.
Yeah and we'd have scored them had he taken off players who were under performingYet even in the second half, we made enough good chances to win several games.
i think the guy is blaming the manager and he is right to do so. Every week we bring on a defensive player with 10-15 minutes to go and hang on. Even as far back as Alashkert and Celtc it has been happening. Hanging on for wins was good management but we were always going to get caught out like today. Here we go again, let’s find a way to blame Davis again for dropping points.
Couldn’t make this up.
He made a great play for Roofe to set up Morelos, who missed a sitter.I get Greegsy’s flap and our innumerable sitters are what ultimately cost the game but this was the systematic change where it all went tits up
Incredibly negative and just invited pressure, it was the turning point in the game, big mistake from Gerrard imo
McGregor cost us 2 points.Manager cost us 2 points
McGregor made the mistake but for me our subs changed the whole course of the gameMcGregor cost us 2 points.
McGregor cost us 2 points.
A simplistic reply indeed but a simplistic analogy it is not.A very simplistic analogy
100% mate.I get Greegsy’s flap and our innumerable sitters are what ultimately cost the game but this was the systematic change where it all went tits up
Incredibly negative and just invited pressure, it was the turning point in the game, big mistake from Gerrard imo
He's not blaming Davis directly, he's saying it was the wrong sub and it was. Here we go again, let’s find a way to blame Davis again for dropping points.
Couldn’t make this up.
Correct mate.Bacuna on was a terrible decision. Looks like he can play but not the sub we needed.
100% this. He doesn't have it imho. A bit of a poser.Bacuna coming on was a disaster - they got confidence as they realised he’s not a direct runner like Wright
