Liverpool ditching Nike for Adidas

Be interesting to see what they come up with.
I would imagine the retro stuff will look great, if you’re a Liverpool fan of course…

Reading the article Liverpool only got £30m a season surprised it was as low as that.

There really isn’t that much money in shirt sales for clubs.

Manufacturers get the overwhelming majority.

This is why clubs will churn out any old shit with their badge on it

The Nike deal was £30 million guaranteed and 20% commission on all sales.

According to UEFA they made £113 million in kit and merchandising last season.

Top 5
Barcelona (£153.25m)
Real Madrid (£132.7m)
Bayern Munich (£125.9m)
Liverpool (£113.1m)
Man Utd (£111.3m)

The money generated by these teams is nuts.

So post #7 was talking shite then saying there is no money in shirt sales?
