O Captain, My Captain!
Whit?O Captain, My Captain!
Did Gerrard not already say that Glenn's going on loan to a Dutch team?Paul Heckingbottom on the radio saying that Hibs are trying to get Glenn Middleton on loan.
Yes there is.
Why you on this one?
Did Gerrard not already say that Glenn's going on loan to a Dutch team?
Just to clarify.. who are Allan and Gmac?Thought I saw him pictured with Allan and GMac at livi, assumed he was being loaned there

100% agree Captain.. This is exactly why a loan move will be good for Ross. He has a fair bit to learn and hopefully he will return a more mature player and with better game management.Ross McCrorie is a competitive, combative style of player who will probably have been trying too hard to make his mark in his first game with his new club.
It's not the ideal start for him but I love his "up and at 'em" style but hopefully this will be part of his learning process and he'll return a more mature and considered player with bags of experience under his belt.
Herrera?
How come? Saturday's game was in the league and this is the cup.Ross McCrorie suspended for tonight following his red card.
Shame, cos the game is on Sky and was looking forward to watching him.
Presumably domestic suspensions apply in both league and cup competitions. Information was taken from Portsmouth's official match preview so assuming it's correct. How come? Saturday's game was in the league and this is the cup.
This is the wrong thread for this but I assume you'll care. Ejaria back to Reading on loan from Liverpool.
Am I correct in assuming that they now need 3 goals to qualify
Oops, wrong thread
Nobodies infallible, oh wait a minute, maybe you are.
I posted in my intended thread, it was just off-topic.
On loan until his contract runs out.Is Alnwick still with us or has he left ?
Just an update on McCrorie. Was on the bench today for Pompey, after his suspension as Jackett played an unchanged side from the League Cup win against Birmingham.
Pompey won 2-0 and, I'll be honest, there's a bit of a chance that McCrorie's starting chances have decreased somewhat, as Pompey have hit upon a winning combination in midfield with Ben Close and Andy Cannon in the middle with Tom Naylor, with Cannon taking his chance in the position which McCrorie started in, he was MOTM today.
Would be a surprise if McCrorie came back in next game. although that is against Sunderland, so could be a bit spicy, just the game for Ross. But Cannon has took his chance after McCrorie's sending off.
You really need to be careful what youTwo seats! You fat bstard!
Of all of our loanees, Rossiter is the one I most want to do well enough to come back (and sign a new contract, and play a part in our winning a European trophy - small dreams, eh?)Rossiter played full 90mins for Fleetwood in 2-1 victory over Wimbledon. He picked up a soft booking apparently.
Two wins from two in the league for Barton's men.
We don't have the option of an extra year in his contract.I hope we have an option to trigger an extra year in Rossiter's contract if he plays a blinder this season. Even if only for generating a modest transfer fee.

Sure, but I don't see why he'd sign a deal with us just to get transferred and sign a deal for another team.Nothing stopping us from offering him a longer deal if he's a success

I had the same thought as you. I saw highlights of the Portsmouth game and Close scored an absolute cracker.
Meant to go with PompeyScot's comment!
