He did have issues with his tackling to be fair.Ryan Jack got 4 in 20 games!
Yeah for blowing a kiss against st booo was it notSt Mirren & Villarreal.
It took a lot more to get a red card back in the day.
Which makes Willie Johnston still number 1 for me!
My first thoughtthought Gregor Stevens would be up there too, he liked a meaty tackle in his day
Different rules for us, ref’d to a different standardDifferent rules nowadays.
Seem to remember Hugh burns liked a wee tacle as well.My first thought
He was reckless
Yeah for blowing a kiss against st booo was it not
yes the stats are very alarming but our hands are tied while we are part of this shit hole corrupt league.Of Alfie’s 7 red cards , there are three justified , four were not . Shows you the bias and blatant hatred of Rangers players that two of the top three in our whole history are current squad members .
Jack wouldn't have had as many if he played in those daysWhen you think about how many years proper combative midfielders like Ian Ferguson played for us it incredible that Ryan Jack is up there in his short career.
BooooooringNot when the refs are cheats and corrupt
When Jaws hit you, he took everything, the baw, the player, the hoardings, the front few rows of the crowd. But very importantly, the baw first. When i saw the OP title first name that popped into my head was "Tam Forsyth",,,
JAWS
It is when it’s a such a boooooooring FactBooooooring
bed time for you.Booooooring
Consider the fact that Vinnie Jones has 12 career Reds7 in 16 months
Was it him got a red in Starbucks for halfing someone in the queue ?Kyriakos was sent off 3 times in the space of 3 months
Not when the refs are cheats and corrupt
Consider the fact that Vinnie Jones has 12 career Reds
More sinned against than sinner. Not in the list, but big Mohsni at Motherwell was certainly one of the most clear cut,up there with wee Bud on McMaster
Regan ticked the only box that ever mattered.Yep I thought it would be Alfie which is a sad indictment on our game in scotland and standard of referees here ! Utterly shocking and sadly referred standards dropping this low have been coming since Timmy orchestrated the refs strike and liewell got the free run of Scottish footy aided by dumbcaster and the other lispy prick Reagan who should never been allowed a million miles near the SFA as he was a failure at the Cricket and didn’t understand Scottish footy
My first though was Colin Stein I am sure he lamped a few guy's in his career. When i saw the OP title first name that popped into my head was "Tam Forsyth",,,

I thought Mohsni was innocent.
Yes, I have always been suspicious of the attitude towards Rangers in Scotland and I have always ridiculed the Establishment club myth, but recent years have totally laid bare the fact that Rangers our players and our support are far too often at the messy end of injustice.I think innocent, might be pushing it a bit as he shouldn't have raised his hands, but agree, he was wronged that day massively.
I also thought he should have adopted a 'better to be hung as a sheep than a lamb' attitude and knocked a few more of the Motherwell twats on their arses. He was assaulted several times.
The fact that he came out of that as the most punished, shows you the depth of corruption in the game up here.
Still angers me that his team mates didn't give him much back upMore sinned against than sinner.

I wish Mohsni had gone to town as well, I reckon he had it in him to take most of that Motherwell team out.
Whilst tough tackling was part of Souness's game, he was much more than that, a fantastic all round midfielder. This factor as well, Souness would not have made a living out of the game imo
Thats exactly it. Its a jokeAlfie and Jack have barely even put in a bad tackle between them in last few years
Straight after "jaws" i thought about colin jackson.. (bomber).... He never took many prisoners...My first though was Colin Stein I am sure he lamped a few guy's in his career.
Do you mean in the 90s you didn’t get sent off when an opponent grabs you by the throat?Jack wouldn't have had as many if he played in those days
Definitely is unbelievable when those names are mentioned. An unbelievable stat especially when we've had players like Gregor Steven's,Hurlock,Muscat and Black
