Only concern is the injury but it seems from the headline that the club are keen to take that into consideration.
Looked dangerous in the little we saw of him.
And fella, that’s why you’re posting and not negotiating.Wouldn’t be averse to doing a season long loan if it was an option, we’ve barely been able to have a look at him in order to justify any significant outlay
Hasn’t shown enough for meFrom Rangers Review. Sounds good to me that we are negotiating with an eye on his injury
I definitely want Sima & definitely want Matondo moved on to raise some funds/save on his wages. If we are going to sign Sima then it would be a no from me as we already have Mantondo. Only way I can see us getting him would be to sell Matondo.
Surely not? I thought he looked excellent, especially for a young and relatively inexperienced player. Good ball control, very direct and a lot more willing to pull the trigger than most of our team in and around the box.I'm likely very much in the minority but, on what little we saw of him, I thought he was pretty average before his injury.
I would!I wouldn't be against that at all mate.
Mantondo and Matondo. If we are going to sign Sima then it would be a no from me as we already have Mantondo. Only way I can see us getting him would be to sell Matondo.

It reads to me like we're trying to extend his loan deal.We should pass on him and use the money to sign someone else.
We have repeatedly signed players with bad injuries and it almost always backfires.
Why risk it?
I didn’t see enough to merit paying £4m. Would like to see moreI'm likely very much in the minority but, on what little we saw of him, I thought he was pretty average before his injury.
Only Rangers front player the opposition were scared of.
Cortes came from a much better league than Lammers flopped in and moved to.I would!
Lammers is worth more at present.
Cortes might be worth more to us as a player, but considering their form, Cortes is off the back of a disappointing time at the club that owns him (just as Lammers was) but whilst Lammers has spent his time since January breaking goal scoring records and generally rolling up his league, Cortes has been crocked.
We will sell Lammers for more than we buy Cortes now.

So, just to be clear, you think that every footballer whose ever been sold by a club is shite - is that what you’re getting at?Not sure, why are they happy to sell him if he's that good?
I really liked the look of him and if the fee was reasonable we should definitely look to buy him.
I know what you mean but couldn't help visualising training pics on RTVHe won't be injured forever.
I think we could get a better deal for him because he's out.
We need to watch it's not a recurring injury though, we need to break this cycle with players now.He won't be injured forever.

No, that would be huge generalisation, clearly. So, just to be clear, you think that every footballer whose ever been sold by a club is shite - is that what you’re getting at?
Think Sima is OOC at the end of next season and would be available to sign on a free in January 2025? If that's right I think Brighton will look to get a fee for him this summer. We won’t be spending £4m on him this summer. It will be another loan with a buy option in the summer 2025.
I was impressed with him in the games that he played, if we can get him and Sima on another loan (fitness provided) then it would be a good start for us.
I do recognise Sima and Cortes are both injured though so I should probably get a job in the recruitment team
He played well against Hearts and got the MOM in the cup game. Was also our best player away to Killie until he picked up the injury. Its a small sample size so another loan would be the best option.Only played roughly 4 games and had a good start but was anonymous against St Johnstone at Perth. Need to be cautious as we have been stung so much before.
I can only assume it saves them paying the wages of a player they're not using (due to their formation). What's in it for the selling team?
Because they bring an energy sadly missing in othersWe have fallen away since him and Yilmaz got injured.
My take on it too.Need to be careful.
Bad hamstring injuries tend to have recurring issues, and we can’t keep signing players like that.
He’s been injured his entire time here.I really liked the look of him and if the fee was reasonable we should definitely look to buy him.
If the medics say his op was a complete success. Buy him. They loaned him with an option to buy, not an option for another loan. What would you do?
