Sky saying it was a harsh red card

Of course it’s a red. Illegally stopped a certain goal and the fact we missed the penalty, it would have be very unfair if they didn’t get the player sent off.
Also the fact that the linesman never flagged immediately was correct, because if he had, the game would have been stopped and we would not have had the penalty and the sending off. It’s frustrating at times when the assistant ref doesn’t flag when it’s obvious but it does help prevent errors

Red card all day, every day.

Again, we needed VAR to make the decision because the ref gave offside initially
When it happened the ref was unaware of the potential offside.

He was looking right at it and did not give a pen.

The linesman then put his flag up at which point the offside would have been reviewed.

Both the ref and the linesman got it wrong. For reasons unknown.....

The laws of the game state it’s a red card. No idea why they bleat on it was harsh. Only contested as its Rangers who got the decision. Any other game on tv it’s discussed and said correct call.
We need a sports TV channel in this country that just want to report on football or other sport according to the laws of the game.

Not one that courts controversy on every decision that is 100% correct every single time, just because it involves Rangers.

It's tragic and sad

Who is actually asking for this childish level of sports journalism. Is creating social media clicks really more important than creating a professional product.

Nobody wants this. Its embarrassing. Aren't the people involved in Sky TV, BBC etc embarrassed by what they put out

Who else goes to work thinking I plan to do a terrible job today with what I produce with the express intent of creating social media interaction

It's f'n terrible

It's the influence of reality TV etc on sports media

Why can't we have an "the athletic" level of broadcast media

Surely any such channel would piss all over sky, BBC etc

Why is no one involved in Scottish football interested in creating a high quality product?

When will someone realise they have jumped the shark with this nonsense

The guy has unintentionally but 100% absolutely slapped the ball off the line

What was said about the incident that you object to?

Just back from the game watching it back and they are saying it was a harsh red card he stopped the ball on the line its the reddist of reds

I’m not sure where the harshness is! Arm to ball, it’s a foul. Stopping the ball on the line denying a goal scoring opportunity, red card.

This is why fans get confused over rules, the likes of sky with shite and wrong commentary.

It’s typical of today’s commentators, co commentators & pundits they don’t like the rule, so they proclaim it’s not based on their feelings than fact.

Sky have the worst staff for it, both up here and in England.

You wonder why some fans have no clue anymore when the ones who are meant to be knowledgeable are thick as mince.

Every one of the Sky pundits said the law is harsh, but it is the law so a definite red.
Sorry but nothing to get ragin about here.
No one contested it
Too late, I decided to be raging as soon as I opened the thread.
You two are sad

Miller was absolutely drumming up controversy around it

Pair of sad acts

Jumping into threads being raging where others are not raging and accusing others of the same

Hypocritical sad acts

The Rangers fans on here who delight in digging up posters for asking legitimate questions are a right collection of odd balls

He's slapped the ball off the line

No need to suggest anything was harsh about a 100% correct decision where no comment would have been made had we not been involved

Pair of weirdos

Trio if you include Miller
