Not good enough at this stage. He has been here long enough to understand a ref’s whistle or an ‘oi come here.’

If he can’t then it’s not good enough on the club’s part either.

How does he understand instruction from Gerrard?
 
How do you ensure you get booked without running the risk of mistiming a tackle you are already deliberately getting 'wrong' and seeing red? Walk away from the ref and refuse to come back when called a few times. Alfie has been sent off already this season for refusing to talk to a ref remember. Every chance it was deliberate, but if it was not, it is a minor concern that his attitude has not entirely changed.

Tell you what though, he scored and assisted in a game that was in the balance before he came on. If that kind of form comes with a wee sulk now and then, I really do not care. Best player in the country by a growing margin.

This!! I cant believe that anyone can see wrong in what morelos has done here.

The ref was chocking to book him, that is the booking to a weak referee.

It wouldn't make one bit of difference, as ever since i was a boy, there's always been players who play on the edge and nothing will change them.
We know the boys a marked man, but it won't help if we start to target refs.
Even though we know they've got it in for Alfredo.

Should he have been there in the first place ask yourself that?
The ref had given the free kick for the foul and that had been taken.
Why was Morelos called over for being obstructed off the ball?
that's the point people are getting at....

He changed the flow of the game when he came on, whenever we managed to get the ball out the sky from a Livi hump up the park we could play it forward with confidence knowing it could be played on first time.

He didnt need to be spoken to the first time never mind call him back a 2nd time. The ref was making an excuse to book him and Morelos just made sure he did it. There was no real reason for the ref to be booking him but Morelos knew he wanted to so let him.

He only needed the yellow because of the niggly bookings he's already picked up so far

If it was a level playing field, he wouldn't have to look for a booking. And in a few months time, he'll have to do it all over

Alfredo can be petulant but there is no denying he gets treated differently to every other player in this league.

You are correct, but why was he called over to be spoken to? That also happened a few weeks ago I’m sure. Maybe even booked then as well.

I think you seen why refs constantly get slaughtered today. Arfield booked for a high foot, Livingston player, same offence, no booking.

This is a key point

Instead of the ref using the universal hand sign to tell him no more

He summoned him to lecture him in English a language Alfredo doesn’t speak

It’s a perfect example of the incompetency of our refs and how easy it is for them to punish our players without any thought

That today was an example of some really really bad refereeing.
 
Why did the ref need to speak to Morelos, he did nothing.
The Livingston player caught Morelos as he ran passed him.
If he thought contact was accidental a word in his ear was sufficient and that would have been the end of it. Instead he brings Morelos into it.

He got a dunt in his back from the Livingston (dirty big bastard) No4, why the ref called Alfie over for a word beats me, he done nothing wrong, then when the ref calls him over he does his petulant routine gets booked then misses the Dundee game, no major damage done.
 
Another day another ref happy to book Alfie for next to nothing. Livi guy fouls Alfie he calls the two of them over and reprimands both when he knows Alfie has done nothing wrong. No wonder he's annoyed and pissed off who wouldn't. Good thing is the ref being a dick makes a cu.nt of it suits us

Morelos was standing in the centre circle, facing his own goal. The Livi keeper was about to take a free-kick. The Livi defender ran forward and deliberately barged into the back of Morelos (who, remember, was looking the other way), knocking him to the ground.

Since the Ibrox pitch is 68m wide and the ball was out of play, there is no excuse for him to barge into the stationary Morelos, other than a deliberate act, presumably trying to provoke a reaction.

Morelos did absolutely nothing wrong and it was as clear a booking for the Livi player as you will see all day. If the ref does his job correctly and issues a Yellow Card, the incident is dealt with and the problem ends there.

Just like Candeias v St Mirren, it would appear that when a Rangers player is subjected to a punch or a barge, he is automatically classed as 50% to blame and must be dealt with the same, if not more severely than the aggressor, despite doing nothing wrong.

Just as there was no need to send Candeias off, there was absolutely no need for a word in the ear of Morelos.
 
The referee had no reason at all to speak to Morelos , the Livingston player ran by him did whatever he did Morelos dropped to his knees said nothing to no one the ref calls over the Livingston player then calls over Morelos to lecture him that's when he told the ref to %^*& off and rightly so .
The referees are going to cause a riot soon with their bias
 
He needs to be called out before he gets into being in charge of games against the Scum. In all three games so far he has booked Morelos for being fouled. He booked Arfield, but let their player off for the same offense. He is at best a clown, at worst a cheat.
