Yup that's
Yrah that's him. Source is I'm currently in company with Cortes agent and he is also this guy's agent
A player coming from a winning environment is not to be sniffed at.

No we have an obligation apparently. His agent is waxing lyrical here about him
Yer I don’t get that, what’s the point of another loan if we’re obligated to buy anywayObligation rather than an option?
I’d have thought we might be trying to get an option, to make sure he recovers properly from injury

FFP apparently. He's joining us for golf tomorrow morning so I'm going to push as much as I can hahaYer I don’t get that, what’s the point of another loan if we’re obligated to buy anyway
Depends how the contract is done.
I always thought that if you had an option to buy with an agreed price, you only discussed terms with the player when you activated the clause.
Apparently though its more common for the contract to be agreed at the start of the loan. If the buying club then agrees to meet the terms, the contract is activated.
If that what APOEL have with the boy, then if they activate the clause, he will effectively move to them, and we would have to then buy from APOEL if we wanted him.
That at under 20's level?
Is this the scum transfer thread nowI can see Robertson going there.
Hope our transfer policy does not rely too heavily on one agentFFP apparently. He's joining us for golf tomorrow morning so I'm going to push as much as I can haha
these small tid bits are the reason why i love this thread!!Yup he's coming back on loan with an obligation to buy in January
Now there’s our Lundstram replacement…
All to do with money. FFP to be precise. Same reason Diomande was kept for summer rather than January.Yer I don’t get that, what’s the point of another loan if we’re obligated to buy anyway
First two clips goals outside the box. I’m in.Like a young Rodri
That’s right. He was at one in Italy last month. TransferRoom its calledI asked why Koppen is going to Mexico and he said that it is the same type of meeting where they worked out the Cortes transfer. Apparently a load of clubs get together and it's like speed dating where you spend time with other teams recruitment head

Ask him how Cortes is finding it at Rangers, I wanna know how keen he is to sign for us permanentlyI asked why Koppen is going to Mexico and he said that it is the same type of meeting where they worked out the Cortes transfer. If he’s coming back on loan with an obligation to buy I’d say he’s keen to signAsk him how Cortes is finding it at Rangers, I wanna know how keen he is to sign for us permanently
Thanks for sharing. This is what the thread is all about.Yup that's

What was his injury mateYup he's coming back on loan with an obligation to buy in January
Madrid Bear coming out of nowhere to take an early lead in the 2024 Summer Transfer Thread ITK Sweepstakes but am all for it
They also did it with a lad called Macleod from Dumbarton. They wanted to sign Alastair, who at the time was the far better player, but ended up signing his brother Murdo.I remember Celtic did this with a striker called Mo Bangura. There were two Banguras at the same club and the guy they signed looked like the Dad.
Always injured recentlySupposedly they're going to throw a whole load of money at getting Tierney back on loan next season according to a Tim I know.
just you get it teltCortes hasn't spent a lot of time in Glasgow apparently as his rehab has been in France? I think that's what he said but I'm not too used to Colombian slang. Puerta would be a loan I think he said. Cortes is definite though according to this guy. I have just bought another bottle of red so I'm probably not going to update much as I will be a wee bit tipsy
The lad can ping a pass.
More chance of the injury prone lady's front bottom coming to us. Our medical staff would give him a clean bill of health!Indeed. Almost a dare I say it Rangers approach to transfers. Chuck money at an expensive player on the slide with a history of injuries.
I meant heard of him and hour ago. Bloody autocorrect on my phoneHe reckons Puerta has the highest ceiling of all his clients. Probably just him bigging him up though as I had never heard of him and bout ago haha
He was signed by one of the best CDMs of his generation who has just gone through an unbeaten season as a manager. PromisingHe reckons Puerta has the highest ceiling of all his clients. Probably just him bigging him up though as I had never heard of him and bout ago haha
get his mooth dressed as it were@madrid-bear you’re supposed to get him to drink the bottle, not you. You’re our man on the ground, get him drunk to open up
Is Cortes staying?Yup that's

I heard the other day that a left back was coming in. As far as I'm aware it's Jefte.Asked my Cypriot mate about local talk around Jefte. This is his reply.
They said that Apoel made an offer to his team to keep him but they are bankrupt so I don't think so I think he's going to Rangers
A better example is when a Fiorentina scout went to Argentina to sign Diego La Torre from Boca Juniors. They also did it with a lad called Macleod from Dumbarton. They wanted to sign Alastair, who at the time was the far better player, but ended up signing his brother Murdo.
To be fair it kind of worked out. Mainly due to Murdo taking full advantage of the opportunity.

The scout saw his teammate play and signed him instead.
The teammate was a certain Gabriel Batistuta.
Yes please!!!!
You win!Archie Knox was scouting Marc Rieper playing for Denmark and went back to Walter raving about Brian Laudrup instead.
