The book was much better, only good thing in the film is that bird off Shameless getting rattled.Awaydays is also worth watching.

The wee guy out of the lord of the rings was total gash in itGreen Street was great
Filled in a flight for me one day and made me laugh. There’s a spoof of all these films called the hooligan factory and if you enjoyed these kind of films you’d probably like it. It’s one of those films that most people would say was shite but I laughed all the way through it.
Was that the Glasgow boy? ( not read the book in years) As I remember the main guy worked with a Rangers fan from Glasgow) iircThe Derby lad in the book was based on a good friend of me and my old man. We were most disappointed when that particular bit didn't feature in the film.
" What have we got to do with Celtic "First , Gary Oldman loyal!
Read the book and really enjoyed it with loads of music references, not seen the film thoughAwaydays is also worth watching.
No, he was/is one of Derby's lads. Pally with a lot of Rangers and Linfield lads from the 80s though. Was that the Glasgow boy? ( not read the book in years) As I remember the main guy worked with a Rangers fan from Glasgow) iirc
Frank Harper as Billy Bright was really good in it I thought.
Nick Love is a good writer/ director, enjoyed all of his work to date,he's directed a show on Sky ( bulletproof ) decent watch.Goodbye Charlie Bright and The Business are both decent films too
Both directed by Nick Love who directed Football Factory
Also did the remake of The Firm
Cheers...havent seen that, will look for it tonightAvailable on YouTube.
the firm with gary oldman will always be my favourite and the directors cut is worth a watch as well, a couple of surprising moments in it that had to be cut out
Am sure it was a set of 3 books that it game from football factory , England away and another I can’t remember . Great books .
John King also wrote Human Punk named after the Ruts song and Skinheads, both brilliant books

Didn’t think it was great.I watched Ultras on Netflix recently about Napoli fans which was not bad.
They’d have been better with the Wealdstone raider You want some I’ll give it youThe wee guy out of the lord of the rings was total gash in it
Green Street was great
I like Dyer. I lived in the east end for years and married a proper cockney and he’s still the most cockney person I’ve ever heard in my life.
he’s brilliant in this and human traffic.
I watched it subtitled, quite enjoyed it.Didn’t think it was great.
The dubbed American accents didn’t help.

Do you like him in Eastenders?
That’s how I see GCB, like I said before the end with Live Forever is a great scene.Like both those films.
GCB reminds me of my late teens drifting away from mates choosing different paths.
The Business has a fantastic soundtrack and is a great watch. The ginger c*nt plays a ginger c*nt fantastically! The bird in it married Harvey so %^*& knows how he ended up a rapist she's a fucking doll.
It is a great ending scene. That’s how I see GCB, like I said before the end with Live Forever is a great scene.
I’m tempted to crack a few cans open now and watch it to be honest mate!It is a great ending scene.
I picked it up loads in Blockbuster back in the olden days and Paul Nicholls always put me off getting it but he's actually pretty decent in it. I'm gonna watch it again soon.

Yep!Anyone else old enough to remember the “Skinhead” books by Richard Allen?
Joe ‘Awkins Loyal.Yep!
Bought about 4 or 5 of them at a silent auction in my granny's work.
Read them all multiple times, really enjoyed them.
Thanks for that, now I'll need to find them on ebay or amazon and buy them again...
I tried with it dubbed and ended up back on the sub-titles.Didn’t think it was great.
The dubbed American accents didn’t help.
