Anyone ever went an entire season without missing a game?

If the OP is including all competitive games including Europe away, I did it in seasons 77-78, 78-79 and 79-80.
Young Boys, Twente Enschede, Juventus, PSV, Cologne, Lilliestrom, Fortuna Dusseldorf and Valencia were port of calls. The sequence was broken the following season against Dukla Prague, Iron Curtain visa issues as I recall. Thank f.uck anyway, we were beaten 3-0. Had a bonkers time around then.

Me: "Can I get time off to go and see the Rangers in Europe".
Boss: "No".
Me: " Stick yer job up yer arse".

This season I've managed to attend every match except for Killie away at the start and also the "closed door" match during the Winter Break

Home, Away, Europe

This will no doubt come to an end after the split

Not quite a full season but close

mentally challenged game at parkhead ?

Quite A few seasons in total but my best continuous record was between 1999 and November 2011, never missed any 1st team games in Scotland
A few of those years included all euro aways as well (68 games for Manchester season)

(Will be interesting with new format for European games, could it be possible to top 68 games? Which I believe is a record rangers hold for competitive fixtures in a season record

Didn’t do any euro preseasons or America / South Africa / Australia like some did on top of that which was some going.

My best effort was 2010/11 - every game with the exception of both Aberdeen (3-2) and Bursaspor away.

Amazing how much easier getting away tickets seemed to be.

It's also incredible to reflect on how many games you simply forget happening altogether.

I’ve done it four times and we’ve won the league EVERY time.

I reckon for most at this point in time it will be nigh on impossible unless it’s a who you know type situation.

Done it a few times domestically, before the piggery allocation got slashed, but have always missed at least an odd European game each season and often a good few.

Pretty sure I completed it under Warburton.

It's impossible for me now.

Done a few where I did all domestics home and away.

Manchester season the only game I missed including Europe was Stuttgart.

This season I’m on course to have not missed a game at Ibrox, including cup games. That’ll be the first ever. Any away games I’ve not got to I’ve watched on the tv. The last time I didn’t ‘see’ a game was against Dundee in September 2021 as I was at a stag doo.

Mate cmon

You didn't get behind the iron curtain at the height of the cold War?

You need to try harder - I would have cut you some slack for the Cuban missile crisis but late 70s is unacceptable!!

I did it once, back in the eighties pre- Souness. Could get seats in the main stand at most grounds back then.

Slightly off tangent but still on the brief.

My da, bruv and me were through at Airdrie for the game that clinched 5iar.

Now the pub we were in was mobbed, and unknown to me a pal of mine, who came from the circuit in Cambuslang, was in also with his pal Winkie and his son who would have been about 5 or 6 at the time.

Anyway, a guy had sat down next them and had, had a few. Everyone's in a good mood. So the guy says to Winkie's son; ' How many games have you been to wee man?'

Winkie starts reeling off the league and cup games, plus a couple he had taken his son to, in that 92/93 European run. Fifty odd before the season was over.

I think the guy was sorry he asked.

I went to Prague in 81.

Andy Bain, Ross Bowie's old man and a businesman called Joe Welsh (maybe Walsh?) travelled to Belgrade I think in Nov 1959 and got a Police escort to the stadium.

Foreign travel for football fans was unheard of back then.

I can imagine it was like something out of Firefox

17/18 I done it from pedro in a bush to the 5-5 at Easter road and everything in between. Mental season. No chance of doing it now with mygers.

Closest I’ve ever been to doing a full season is 15/16 under Warburton, missed Alloa away the beginning of the season when Oduwa did that mad rainbow flick, it was my papas 80th party that day, also missed Falkirk away when we lost 3-2 as I was in Milan.

And 16/17 missed the Scottish Cup semi against the mentally challengeds as it was my mates wee girls christening.

My mate mentioned to me about rangers playing Bristol city away
I totally forgot that happened
(I wasn’t at that one, he was)

Yes. My work were good with me but that one I.coukdnt do.

Went to Montenegro, Belgrade the lot
Could be another interesting thread.

Have you ever only been to one game, and it was a Euro away?

I knocked back a ticket for Fiorentina at home the day before the game. I knew another guy was interested and I couldn't take it knowing I hadn't been all season.

I sneaked into that one with a fake press pass.
The one i missed was Bursaspor when the snow came down and the flight was cancelled !

Inter in 2005 you could hear pissed up bears singing the sash on tv!

Heart and Hand said they stuck on blazers and lodge ties, before simply walking in behind our officials.

Domestically a good few times, kept all ticket stubs over the years, will keep them till the day i die.

Pleeze do it again this season! :)) I've only done it for home games incl testimonials friendlies etc

No and I likely never will. 1 or maybe 2 fellas from over here won’t be far off as I don’t think they’ve missed this season once (bar piggery)

Late 70s early 80s home and away non stop. Favourites away days were Dundee/utd and Aberdeen when Peep Peeps was still open. Worst was Easter Rd and Cappielow when you had to walk for what seemed like hours just to get there.

That is some going mate!

Never been close to attending every game in a season.

Only managed all the homes and possibly more than half the aways a few times in my younger years.

Now only home and hampden with the away tickets going to the bus.

91/92. Every game domestically but missed the away game to Sparta Prague. Nothing special back in those days due to availability of tickets.

I think it was the reserve league cup final and Glasgow cup final that got me over the line for a cup final ticket against Airdrie (44k capacity due to redevelopment of Hampden). Our RSC counted those games because they ran a bus.

We just got tickets from Airdrie for the family section as it was mixed back then. I took my son and it was his first cup final aged 4. It was mostly Rangers fans so plenty of others must have done the same :))

1988-89, 1989-1990,1990-1991.

Then I discovered that I liked getting pissed and chasing women a lot more.

Advocates 1st season. Always managed to get a ticket somehow. Would get one outside an away ground or on a bus en route - still travelled with our without, those were the days

Between 1992 and 2011 I probably missed around a dozen domestic games. Always seemed to be able to get a ticket by hook or by crook.
Magical memories.

Between 2004-2013 I probably missed around 15 games at most domestically. Then I met my missus and had my son….looks like I went the opposite way of you.
