I’d imagine football contracts have injury clauses that prevent the clubs from terminating contracts due to unavailability through injury or medical reasons.
You’re an absolute crackpot.Good. The last thing we need is another batch of crocks who get paid millions for being unavailable. I guess you dont mind watching the tims overtake us.
By the way anyone more interested in sick pay than win bonuses isnt worth buying.
Our sick list this year isnt down to bad luck.
Erickson has a pacemaker to help with his issue, maybe this one is more complicated and a pacemaker wouldn’t help otherwise it would have been fitted. He will see out his contract then probably retireThe most frustrating thing about this guy is zero info. Has he had an operation? Is he going through rehab from it? What is the projected timeframe for recovery?
Zero info so it’s assumed he just hangs about. Yes the guy is entitled to privacy but it’s hardly telling us his bank account details if there was some info on recovery times.
The fact that eriksson is back playing already means it was either the club got it badly wrong, the healthcare team have or worse their is a player issue. Just tell the fans something after two years to fill the info void

Rangers wouldn’t have the choice in the matter I was referring to, if indeed it’s the insurance company that is paying him, the insurance company will absolutely treat him as the recipient of the policy. That doesn’t mean they won’t deal with him sympathetically but they will not be treating him as their player or asset like the club would. Hopefully that’s a bit clearer mate.I would hope Rangers have a bit more empathy than treating him as a "recipient". Could happen to any player.
Some of the language used when talking about the young guy is profoundly unsympathetic.
He is hardly a "crock" just messing about is he now? The guy has heart issues which is totally different from what you are inferring.Good. The last thing we need is another batch of crocks who get paid millions for being unavailable. I guess you dont mind watching the tims overtake us.

Just like you and me he is entitled to medical confidentiality. We won’t hear anything unless he wants us to.The most frustrating thing about this guy is zero info. Has he had an operation? Is he going through rehab from it? What is the projected timeframe for recovery?

Or posts a cryptic message on social mediaJust like you and me he is entitled to medical confidentiality. We won’t hear anything unless he wants us to.
Maybe it's not cryptic to him / his family /his friends.Or posts a cryptic message on docile media
Disagree with this. I haven’t see the MSM mention this guy in a while. The only time he’s mentioned is on here. Its because the msm don't highlight it as much.
Yes and no. It’s the most important thing, but not the only thing. Come to an agreement with him and let him move on with his life, whether that’s in or out of football. Realistically it’ll never be with RangersThe usual monthly post about this man.
I'll say what I said before.
If he ends up playing for us - I'm fine with that.
If our medical team spotted something that prevented 50,000 (or the away troops at any other ground) of us watching an event similar or worse than we had to endure with Eriksen, and he never kicks a ball for us and has a long and happy life - I'm fine with that.
The guys health and long term future is the only thing that matters here.
I think the pressure he is under both physically and mentally dealing with a heart problem is much bigger than anything Beale has to deal with...Disagree with this. I haven’t see the MSM mention this guy in a while. The only time he’s mentioned is on here.
At this stage I think we should be looking to come to agreement with the player to get him out of the club. Having these guys hanging around just brings on pressure the manager doesn’t need.
What pressure does it bring on Beale? He seldom gets asked about him and he probably very rarely sees him. He certainly won’t consider him a part of his squad.Disagree with this. I haven’t see the MSM mention this guy in a while. The only time he’s mentioned is on here.

If you find it so boring that people are asking how this lad is then here's a wee tip, don't comment on it. Easy as thatAhh our quarterly Nnamdi Ofoborh thread, the most boring threads in the history of followfollow

I don't think I'm your Dad, what's your Mother's name?Ok sorry dad.
There’s constant threads about him, it’s not some big secret is it?
I could be wrong but I am sure social media is for letting people know..........people who follow you.Maybe it's not cryptic to him / his family /his friends.
Not his problem if somebody who follows his Instagram thinks 'people huv tae know'
That’s trueMSM do not mention Celtics signing failures is what I was getting at.
It’s just another name on the list of players out long term. I think we have stood by the lad for a while but surely there comes a point when you need to part ways and move on.What pressure does it bring on Beale? He seldom gets asked about him and he probably very rarely sees him. He certainly won’t consider him a part of his squad.

I don’t get it. We’ve cared for the lad very well and paid the price for a poor signing which was out with our control. We give him the support and help he needs to move on with his career elsewhere because let’s get real it’s not going to be at Rangers. Instead there’s bleeding hearts on here dying to tell you that he should get medical treatment for 4 years without kicking a ball. Have a think at the strain that puts on our medical team, which I’ll point out was clearly lacking last season and since the head doctor left and was not replaced. There’s more to think about here than one single playerApparently you are wrong. Nothing else matters. Regardless of our need to build a successful team its all about our support of those players we signed who might never play for us.
So, no additional 'pressure' on Beale. We will do what we can whilst he's under contract and then he will be released. Hopefully by that stage the lad will know whether he has a future in football or not. It looks unlikely though. Paying up his contract early saves us nothing and, potentially, simply leads to more bad publicity for us for ditching him early. It’s just another name on the list of players out long term. Absolutely none.Have a think at the strain that puts on our medical team
His issue should have been picked up by our medical team but we know what their recent history has been like

Best post I’ve seen on thisI dont mean this in a horrible way. People just need to forget about this lad for now. The only thing that matters is that this guy can run about with his kids when he's older without worrying about dropping down dead. Let's just hope he can be fully healed. From a football point of view I don't get some folks fascination with seeing him in the team. It's not like we signed him for millions of pounds and expecting him to be a difference maker. He was a low cost punt, see what we could develop him into. Basically a Jake Hastie type. I doubt we'll ever see him for us between his condition and it'll take him time to get to his level again if that'll even be possible. In terms of cryptic messages, who really cares. I'm sure if there's anything juicy we'll hear about it in a podcast one day. Best of luck to the young man in his recovery.
I think the guy deserves sympathy, it must be heartbreaking to suffer this when your future is ruined in your passion. We can't blame our medical department for this one.
