Bury FC phoenix club

It was looking very doubtful that the Saturday game was going to be on due to the waterlogged ground at our home venue in Radcliffe
So through the dedication and forward thinking of our amazing volunteers they have arranged for our home venue to be temporarily altered to Mossley AFC
So now the game will go ahead
Hats off to the fans that have sorted this very complex solution

Some dodgy happenings going on in our division

For those who havent heard yet. The NWCFL have ordered the Winsford v Vauxhall Motors match to be replayed. A match which Winsford won 1-0

On Monday 20th March 2023 a Disciplinary Panel of the NWCFL met with representatives of both Winsford United and Vauxhall Motors to consider a protest under League Rule 16.2 that Winsford United had played the game on 6/3/2023, winning 1-0, whilst under suspension by Cheshire County FA and a request that the match be replayed.

The Disciplinary Panel considered the written and verbal submissions of both clubs and confirmation from Cheshire County FA that Winsford United were suspended on that date for a failure to fulfil their financial obligations to Cheshire County FA.

They also considered the plea of mitigation put forward by Winsford United.


Lots of skulduggery, Winsford who are mid table beat table topping VM 1 - 0. It is now claimed they were suspended for not making a payment to the Cheshire FA and the game is now null and void to be replayed.

So why did the NWCFL allow the game to go ahead, providing match officials etc.

Also, it now appears that the Honary Vice President of Vauxhall Motors just happens to be the Chairman of the Cheshire FA.
Now i am not suggesting anything crooked as it is the NWCFL that have ordered the replay.

Anyway, it is still in our hands, we play Vauxhall Motors away tomorrow and again at home next Tuesday

So we now have a run of games

Tues Vauxhall Motors away
Thurs AFC Liverpool home
Sat Charnock Richard away
Tues Vauxhall Motors home

It is a tall order, bring it on

Does anyone know where it would be possible to watch the semi final in Bury? Will be in the area for the weekend and looking for a bar to watch the game, any help appreciated. There will be a large group of us.

I have just been reminded there is a photograph tribute to Lee Rigby in the Two Tubs pub next to the Parish Church
You cant miss the pub, there is a statue of Sir Robert Peel and he points to the pub
He used to be very helpful pointing the way to the Gents before they got closed down

Goes without saying that tuesday night is huge.

Worth noting though that Vauxhall only have 1 more game at home, still to visit Avro too.

Thanks, I will try them both and hopefully one of them will have the game on, only challenge might be ViaPlay channel.

Aidan Chippendale and Tom Greaves have signed for the rest of the season.

Think that'll solve the goalscoring problem.
Must be a big lift for the team with the volume of games in such a short period of time.

Just seen the team and noticed Jack in goal.
Wondered why he wasn't suspended after his red card on thursday.

It all makes sense now.
