I thought their sponsors would’ve started dropping them by now with all this information coming out.
A plague on all their houses.
They can't really be seen to do that as like all cases going through courts the Scum are 'alleged' if they cancel sponsorship/contracts that is a breach of agreement and could render serious compo, once the result is known then a case for dropping them. There's no "alleged" about it, regardless of what a court say. They can't really be seen to do that as like all cases going through courts the Scum are 'alleged' if they cancel sponsorship/contracts that is a breach of agreement and could render serious compo, once the result is known then a case for dropping them. There's no "alleged" about it, regardless of what a court say.
There's a mountain of hard evidence clearly showing their directors, management, even some playing staff were fully aware of what was taking place since the 60's. Not to mention the testimony of the survivors who's numbers will in all likelihood, run into the hundreds.
There's room for conjecture only in the diseased minds of the creatures who continue to pedal the "good name of c****c" myth.
I thought their sponsors would’ve started dropping them by now with all this information coming out.
If you had said this 3 years ago I would probably have reluctantly agreed with you. They are going to get away with this aren't they? Makes you sick

FFS. Will this nightmare ever end ? Just close down that complete rancid club for good.
King, from Springburn, Glasgow, taught and coached football at a primary school in the north of the city. He was employed as a teacher from 1976 until he retired in 2017.
Police Scotland said: “A 69-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with a non-recent sexual offence against a child. A report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
The Crown Office confirmed that King was involved in an active solemn case, meaning it is likely to be prosecuted on indictment before a judge or sheriff and jury. A preliminary hearing is scheduled to be held at the beginning of May.
King also served as a coach at Celtic Boys Club and contributed to its official magazine. In 1985 he used the publication to ask boys to send him photographs and accounts of “funny incidents” during training.
As well as being a teacher and football coach, King also used to work for a business selling sporting trophies and medals.
This week Francis Cairney, 86, who served as the general manager of Celtic Boys Club from 1974 until 1991, was said to be suffering from dementia.
It is alleged that he indecently assaulted a teenager at Celtic Park, the club’s stadium in the Parkhead area of Glasgow, and another at the club’s former training ground.
Cairney, of Uddingston, South Lanarkshire, is also charged with indecently assaulting another teenage boy at a hotel room in Aviemore and in a car in Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire, on various occasions between August 1, 1988 and June 30, 1989.
He denies all the charges.
Cairney was due to go on trial at the beginning of next month but his lawyer Jim McParland said he was suffering from dementia and results of an NHS scan were expected in the near future.
A further hearing has been set for next week.
Another frequent visitor to court.King will be appearing at court on
Wednesday 4th May at 10am on new charges.
Unless of course he develops dementia between now and then, or an in growing toenail or for whatever other trivial reason his lawyer can come up with to delay justice for this scumbag.King will be appearing at court on

Probably catch cough, ahem, covid...Unless of course he develops dementia between now and then, or an in growing toenail or for whatever other trivial reason his lawyer can come up with to delay justice for this scumbag.
How many is that now?
There should be a full parliamentary investigation now Police Scotland are unable to find years of reported child abuse. The Press , the Scottish Government , Police Scotland , SFA/SPFL have known what was going on along with former players and managers.CEO and directors . They all should be questioned as to why they have remained silent and why there has / was no external /outside investigations into any wrongdoing. This country because of them is rotten to the core , their ilk has destroyed and corrupted each and every body of our system , and unbelievably that club are still operating , and being allowed to exist. A stain on our society which will take a long long time to heal , if ever.
That's the first I've heard this story. It's dated 25th March. A month old and hardly anyone knows about it. That's the problem. Hope he gets what he deserves.Former Celtic Boys Club chairman faces abuse trial — The Times and The Sunday Times

He’s one of SEVEN already convicted.
Time for more of the guilty to develop memory loss.We believe next year DH.
It’s self-serving scum that are either part of their ‘community’ or are chasing their votes.Doesn't seem that anyone in authority in Scotland has any"appetite",or"decency"in them to attempt to give justice/settlement,to the poor victim's!!!.
Will happen again, and again, until SOMETHING is done.
It’s disgraceful that the government and media are complicit in this cover-up.At what point do the media start saying "paedophile ring was in operation".
1 person guilty, it can happen anytime, anywhere, any club, any workplace.
2 people guilty, okay, two people at one club could be paedophiles. They may know about each other or may not.
3 people, 4 people, 5 people. 6 people, 7... 8....
All working at the same football club / involved with the same club at the same time.
Sounds like a paedophile operation and not just coincidence.
(And thats before you add Bennell, and random priests).
GY - all seven were in and around the “club” at the same time?
He is well known in the area. Taught in St Martha's and took the football team.Says he's from springburn I would like to know where I have family in springburn fucking scumbag

GY - all seven were in and around the “club” at the same time?
You have to also think that these people were connected before and after any periods of official involvement.
The longer it takes for this to be fully exposed and accepted as fact the longer children are at risk. Those who have covered up colluded mminimised sentences and exposure of this ringare all as guilty.
In any other civilised democracy there would be a public enquiry, but not in Scotland. The damning evidence already compiled by the team at Spotlight and @BN94, @Grigo Yossarian and the rest of the gang would already suggest quite clearly that there was an undeniable link between convicted paedophile Torbett, his Trophy Centre business and the other convicted or soon to be convicted paedophiles working in the same business, as well as Celtic boys club/football club. The undeniable link would also suggest quite clearly that this would be part of a organised and deliberate child sex abuse ring.
There is no denying the links that have been made, nor is there any denying that they were all inextricably linked with each other, either with the Trophy Centre business, Celtic Boys Club and Celtic Football club.
They were all linked, they all intertwined with each other in business and quite clearly in their personal acitivities.
If a dafty like me can see it as a man on the street, then it should be pretty straight forward for a Judge in a court of Law in this country to be able to join the dots and come to the simple conclusion that this was in fact a sinister paedophile ring operating under the banner of Celtic Football Club, masquerading as a Boys Club and also with the clear business involvement of the Trophy Centre and the staff/directors who worked there.
There is no argument.
There was a clear and obvious paedophile ring operating within the walls of Celtic Football Clubs stadium and training ground.
Even the keystone Cops would have joined the dots. Alas not in this bastardised wee toilet of a country though."Used to work for a company selling sporting trophies and cups"
Just another coincidence
Bad for business to pull sponsorship until a conclusion is reached.I thought their sponsors would’ve started dropping them by now with all this information coming out.
The glibness of that response of Sturgeon's to another scandal partly typifies the Scottish Government's attitude to the viçtims of Celtic howevér the opposition pařties aren't doing much either. These things happen
King will be appearing at court on
Wednesday 4th May at 10am on new charges.
